Skylift Lodge

We had an amazing stay at this property! It was the perfect fit for our family. The location was fantastic, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The property was exceptionally well-maintained, and we could tell that a lot of care had been put into making it a great place for guests. Our kids had an absolute blast, and they’re already asking when we can come back next year! We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at Skylift lodge which was very well stocked with kitchen items including ancillaries like spices etc. that some places don't have, as well as cozy blankets, great TVs etc.

Amazing stay; we’ll be back!

We had 4 adults and 4 children (infant through 7 years old) and it was a PERFECT place! Drove to Legoland during the day, about 25-30 mins away. Clean, well stocked kitchen, playroom with toys, bunk beds, 2 full baths, 2 living areas with TVs. Host was accommodating and quick to communicate. 5/5 stars!

We recently stayed at the skylight lodge for a mid week vaca with our 3 children and another couple with their three children. We had a wonderful time! The home owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Impeccably decorated, immaculate, perfect for children (ours ranged 4 years to 5 months), everything in its place (and even labeled!— an organizers dream!), toys for kids, bunks for comfort, fully stocked kitchen with appliances, kids plates and even coffee! Recently renovated to perfection! We will absolutely come again!

Skylift Lodge was beyond our expectations! The immaculate unit is spacious compared to others [1920 s/f] which was one of the reasons I choose it. I looked at other units but most were only 1100 s/f even though they were in the same price range. The Skylift Lodge condo is a great value compared to everything that I looked at in the surrounding area plus you get access to Crystal Springs Resort which we really enjoyed. It is completely renovated, decorated beautifully and comfortable from the couches to the beds [great mattresses!] We really felt like we had checked into a luxury hotel. The upstairs/downstairs unit is spacious and elegant and so warm and welcoming. The owners seemed to have thought of everything from including a downstairs “coffee bar” and French presses. Both bathrooms have jacuzzi tubs, custom shower heads, hotel quality towels laid out on decorative racks and the owner provided Tommie Bahama soaps and shampoos which was not expected. There are two Master Suites, one up and one down with queen beds There are 8 beds altogether counting the bunkbeds. Everything is quality in the unit from the high-end Samsung washer and dryer, water softener and water purification system. The home is decorated in neutral tones with tasteful ski-inspired framed pictures. The views from the windows and two decks are beautiful—we had morning coffee on the deck! There are two spa and wellness centers, one at the entrance and one a few minutes away which we had access to for a fee. We took the Skyride for $10 which is a “scenic round- trip excursion on the Cabriolet chairlift to Vernon peak.” We loved the Crystal Springs Resort and Tropical Biosphere pool. Warwick is about 15 minutes away with a nice downtown. On the way we stopped at Pennings Orchards and picked up great apple pies and delicious chocolate covered apples with caramel and the best apples I think I have ever had. Noble Pies is also great. The whole area is really beautiful with mountain vistas. All in all, Skylift Lodge was truly a wonderful experience. I hope we can come back!

We absolutely loved the house and the set up. It was clean and had a great feel to it. Convenient to the Minerals Hotel and many local restaurants/businesses. We enjoyed this home immensely and would book again if in this area.

Weekend in the mountains

Family of 5 here. Place was great, well kept and clean. Plenty of beds for more in case you have a larger party. Check in/check out was fast and easy. Would definitely stay again.

Skii trip for the Family!

Clean, neat, pretty design, perfect set up for family and kids gathering. Host was friendly, informative, and available. Nice tv's in every room, seating comfortable and clean, lots of sleeping options, and jacuzzi tubs were a nice touch!Will definitely come back when we do another skit/boarding trip!

Lovely, spacious condo

There was ample room in this immaculate, well equipped condo for 4 children and 4 adults for a two night stay. Very close to Mountain Creek Ski, Crystal Springs Resort and horse stables. The experience was only enhanced by the responsiveness and professionalism of the property owner, who kindly allowed us a late check out so that the kids could wrap up ski lessons. Highly recommended!

Great Spot away from the City but close enough to enjoy the City

Great place. Great hosts. Very clean. We enjoyed golf, small town feel, being away from NYC, while being able to catch some shows, shopping and action of NYC inside of 90 minutes or less. Highly recommended.

Awesome & Comfortable Stay

Gerrit is a great host. We had a power glitch and he helped us get the power back on in no time. It was because of a storm. He always answered when you called and followed up prior to our visit. The place is very clean and setup just nicely. Just fyi there are no tvs in bedrooms so only in the main areas to watch tv but of course you can use your devices. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. There are several stairs to climb up to access the property but

Home away from home!

This was the perfect place for a week long getaway with family. Location was great to check out some local trails and attractions (water park, Lego land). Close to grocery store, liquor store and a delicious ice cream place (Dairy Swirl!). The layout of the unit was very good - kids got to hang out and get some downtime in the rec room. Adults got their own space upstairs. Kitchen was very well equipped with lots, pans, grater, plastic cutlery / dishes for kids etc. for all our cooking needs during the week. Temperature was perfect with the thermostat. What made this stay the best ever VRBO experience for our family were the thoughtful addition of little details - a new sponge in the kitchen sink, careful labelling / instructions all around the unit, a stool in the closet so little ones could reach the sink, extra batteries and night lamps, generous supply of towels, seventh gen laundry detergent! - no expense was spared and the quality of everything in the unit was top notch and well maintained. Very quiet and relaxing space! Highly recommend this unit for your next family vacation. Thanks Gerrit for a wonderful week!
