Really liked staying here. It has some modernity but also some rustic feeling to it. We loved the backyard area and had a comfortable time overall. Didn’t need anything that wasn’t there already. Would definitely stay again!
Great house, lots of room for a family! We arrived after dark both nights so we didnt get a chance to enjoy the spacious backyard.
backyard .spacious backyard
We used this location as a jump off point for all of the attractions in the area: Falling Water, Kentuck Knob, Fort Necessity, Compass Inn, Lincoln Highway, Ohiopyle, etc. The furnishing were spare, simple and clean. If you were looking for elegant and opulent then this was not it. If you needed functional, quiet, and convenient then this is perfect. We are planning a return to the area and will definitely book again.
Cute, wonderful, clean place with all the comforts of home!
Quaint farmhouse in a small, peaceful, relaxed
town. A great place to stay when exploring all there is to see in the area (Ohiopyle, Laurel Highlands etc) and then come back to for board games, reading and relaxing.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this quaint historical neighborhood and how it’s conveniently located near Yough Lake - the lake my wife’s family had a house on and shared a lot of amazing memories.
What makes this property unique
Built in 1865, this house had been updated throughout the years but still retains its original farmhouse charm. The private backyard is ideal for yard games or relaxing next to a fire.
