Nestled in the heart of the Sayles Historic District, this rustic beauty invites you to experience the allure of country living with a touch of modern comfort.

Step upstairs and be greeted by the warm patina of original yellow pine walls and ceilings that exude a cozy, timeless charm. The primary bedroom features a luxurious king bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The second bedroom boasts built-in twin beds that will make you wish you had been "raised in a barn" !

The living space is adorned with a persimmon-colored leather sofa and antique quilts, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen, a delightful blend of vintage and contemporary, showcases colorful auto license plates as a unique backsplash. Stainless steel appliances elevate the cooking experience, providing a perfect balance between old-world charm and modern functionality.

*This home is a located on the second level with stairs leading up to the door**

Guests will have private access to the entire upstairs. There is another Sayles Ranch Home (The Dance Hall) located on the lower level that may be occupied at the time of your stay.

Great spot for our overnight in Abilene

Charming and Inviting

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hayloft! It was warm, inviting and well-appointed with all that one would want for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the very fun and cool art and decor! Julie is easy to reach if needed and the check in and check out are very easy. We will definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Abilene

The property was in a very nice neighborhood with easy access to a covered parking area in the back. We felt very safe and secure while being quite comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for convenience and space to move around.

Perfect getaway in Abilene

Great central location. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Literally 10 minutes to anywhere in town. Very comfortable for even a family with 2 teenagers. The hayloft had many personal touches that made it feel more like home. Would stay again.

Wood Heaven

If you like to be surrounded by wood, this is your place. We felt like we were in a mountain cabin, yet we were in the middle of the city. Everything worked great especially the air conditioner!! Decor was really interesting and was fun to investigate. We like to cook and it had everything we needed for a nice meal. Location was perfect near the college and the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Abilene.
