Fall Getaway

From check in to Check out - the staff is always present and ready to assist you. The layout is colorful and peaceful and the walkways are fun just to meander about and look at the various fish ponds. The beach promenade is a great way to walk along the beach/lagoons without getting sand in your shoes while watching the sun rise and set!

Absolutely great experience! This unit was well stocked and very organized. From the appliance instructions in individual folders to an abundance of food storage containers to the re-usable bags, this unit had it all. Tess , our greeter, was extremely professional and was available throughout our stay to address any concerns we had. Fantastic experience!!

Amazing!

What a wonderful place to vacation in! Everything, literally every single thing, was just great! The property is gorgeous, with every little detail thought out. It's stocked with everything one needs to be comfortable. Plenty of beach accessories as well, including beach chairs, coolers, floaties, etc. We enjoyed the lanai, where we had most of our meals and drinks in the evening. The common areas are immaculately maintained and the beach, which was basically a private beach, is just a couple of minutes away by foot. Everyone is friendly, helpful and works to make your stay as easy as possible. We also loved the Starbucks bike, which serves coffee in the mornings - a good reason to go for a short stroll at the start of each day. We definitely hope to be back here and stay at the same property in the near future.

Beautiful Ko' Olina

Ko Olina is a perfect area away from the hussle and bussle of Honolulu. Reminds me of Kaanapali Beach on Maui. The lagoon beach area is beautiful, great for swimming and even a little snorkeling. The pools were nice. The pool near the beach was a little murky, but it was salt water, so maybe that is how it should look. Beach bar was great, good drinks, not much for food though, macaroni & cheese, hot dogs, chips. The room is top notch, we loved opening up the glass sliders wide open and having an outdoor living space. Kitchen is top notch. We had a great unit that had lots of kitchen equipment. The burners on the cooktop took awhile to heat up. Two drawer dishwasher was nice. Big subzero refrigerator with ice maker. Large dining room table. The beds were very comfortable. Washer and dryer are on the small side and not very efficient for washing and drying beach towels and other laundry took a long time to dry. It was taking a long time to get the beach towels dry. Would be nice to have more towels available, pretty much 1 per person for the whole week. No mid week cleaning unless you pay for it. Some drawbacks, but we will definately stay here again when in Oahu. May/June 2017

Nice Property But Small Improvements Could Help

Property and unit itself were very nice and exceeded expectations. This is a really nice resort. The lagoon was great for swimming and very good/accessible snorkeling. Rating gets taken down by some surprising inconveniences. The biggest issue is parking - both at the property and in the general Ko Olina area. Our assigned parking space was about as far away from the actual unit as possible - in a completely separate tower on the bottom floor. This was troubling for a couple reasons...inconvenience (especially for grocery shopping and families with small children) exacerbated by the need to scan a security pass at every entrance and elevator and especially because there was ample parking all over the property (and much closer to our unit). We inquired about with the onsite staff and with Ola Properties. Both told us that parking was run by the owners group and there was nothing they can do. The other issue is parking in the general Ko Olina marketplace - very difficult to find a spot for dinner or other visits to the market. This will only get worse as the area becomes more popular and new developments come in. A couple thoughts based on experiences we have had at similar properties...for onsite parking, seems that it would makes sense for the owners committee to adopt a more flexible parking arrangement to better accommodate guests. And, the resort/owners may want to look into a shuttle service to/from the marketplace at busy hours.

Parking spaces at the Beach Villas are assigned to each individual villa per their deed. Most times, the building management (on-site staff) will allow a guest to use a different stall, but perhaps due it being the busy Christmas Season they were unable to do so. Parking at the Ko Olina Marketplace in the busy seasons is definitely a problem. We are told the Master Developer of the resort is working on a plan to alleviate some of the congestion but we do not yet know what the plan is. We hope you will be able to return for another visit and give us the opportunity to make your stay (and parking) more convenient. Mahalo, Ola Properties, Inc.

Loved our experience!!

The picture shows the space exactly the way it truly looks in person. We appreciated everything from the messages had with management prior to our arrival to all the details that were ready for us when we arrived. When we opened the condo door, the soft music was playing and a pair of bags and sun glasses with local maps were there for us. The place was spotless and the beach was 3 minute walk. LOVED that we snorkeled in our own back yard and that we had our private beach. We are already planning to go back!!! Only 351 days until the next time we visit! If you are looking for an amazing experience - look no further - Ola is the place to stay!!!!!! Far enough from the city but only a car drive away. Best place ever!

Absolutely Gorgeous

Our family went to Hawaii for the first time and we stayed in Honolulu. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Ko Olina (Ocean Towers). Check-in was sooo incredibly smooth. We were greeted before we got there with a text and a contact for any need we had. The contact (Tessa) let us know that she checked out the condo before we got there and everything looked great to her. The fornt desk staff was ALWAYS courteous and did all they could to help at any time 24/7!!! Tessa met us at the front desk and helped with checkin and getting to our parking space (she walked us to it while we drove!) and then walked us to our room once we parked. She let us know how to work everything that was not obvious and we appreciated her letting us know some quirky things like one lightbulb was flickering and if it bothered us we could get it changed. All the amenities were grand from the pools to the workout facility to the bar. We really enjoyed ourselves and would stay here in a heartbeat if we came back.

Great stay

This property has a wonderful view of the pool and garden. It is ample and the lanai is a great place to spend time with family and friends. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The open design lends itself to gatherings. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pan, dishes, etc. There are large TVs in every room. Loved the condo.

Perfect family vacation

Aside from a weird, last minute cancellation by Ola Properites, we had a great stay. There was a mixup, but LUCKILY the property was available for the exact dates we wanted and they amended the price to match our original contract. They were very responsive, even if this happened over the Fourth of July weekend. The parking spot designated for the condo was about a 3-minute brisk to 5-minute leisurely walk to the condo. It was a little bit confusing the first time we walked the property, but totally fine after that. There was never a wait in the elevators, even during the peak of summer. The check-in process was easy and front desk hosts were so helpful. Greg from Ola Properties greeted us and took us and all our luggage to our condo. He was very friendly and thorough in his explanation of all appliances and conveniences in the condo. He helped me figure out where the best spot was to pick up my elderly, handicapped father. Loved everything about the condo. There was more than enough kitchen supplies, towels, blankets/pillows, etc. the condo was a 1 minute elevator ride to the adult pool, 1 minute walk to the koi pond, 2 minute walk to the big pool, and 3 minute walk to the beautiful, white sand beach. It wasn’t ever too crowded. Always somewhere to lay your beach towel while you take a dip in the water. There were many restaurants and bars in a 5 to 10 minute walking distance. A nice shopping center and full grocery store were available a quick 10 minute drive away.

Great location close to beautiful beach laguna.

Loved location of the unit was on the second level, very comfortable with kids. Lap pool was so nice and kids enjoyed other pool for splashing. Property also had a fish pond and kids enjoyed participating in timed feedings. Property is on the beach and laguna is safe from large waves and currents. Property provided beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys. Walking distance away is a small grocery store, a couple of restaurants, coffee bar and ice cream shop as well as a few gift stores. We loved our stay and will plan on coming back.

Amazing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for our family's first visit to Oahu. The lagoon was great to float and snorkel without having to watch the kids. Lots of fish and sealife to see. Good restaurants nearby, although we walked after finding out that parking was a nightmare. Paradise Cove luau was walkable as well. Not too far from grocery stores, tTarget, Walmart and Costco. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Overall, it was cleaner than staying in a hotel. Enjoyed having beach toys to use as well.
