The house was in the perfect location to catch the train into the city of Toronto, the walk to the station is right down the street. The house was perfect for a little getaway, very organized & clean!
I loved staying in this older Georgetown home that had been tastefully decorated to update the interior while honouring the heritage aspects of the home. I particularly enjoyed being able to easily walk along the beautiful local streets to downtown for the weekend Farm Market and shopping, or to access the pathway/trail network. Rachel was a super responsive and friendly host, and I would highly recommend staying at this property!
House was extremely clean and organized. 'Little things" were supplied were a bonus. The host responded in a timely fashion and was super helpful. Lots of stores and places to eat nearby.
Love love loved this place. Clean, great location and peaceful. I recommend this home to anyone interested in this location. I could live here full time.
Lovely home in a pretty neighborhood. House is very clean and well appointed, quiet and enjoyable. Well located with many shops and restaurants nearby, train is just up the street. Thank you!

Francoise, thank you for your kind words. You were great guests, welcome anytime!
A nice place with a good basic kitchen, a lovely bathroom, and clean, Scandinavian Style bedrooms. We gave it five stars because we think most people would love it here. However, it is not a safe space for travelers with fragrance sensitivities. We know everyone with sensitivities is different, and if sensitive Travelers wanted to try staying here we would recommend a traveling when air quality was not smokey so you could open all the windows and air out the place. We would recommend for sensitive travelers to bring your own sheets and be prepared for them to take on the fragrances in the place.
The minute we walked into the enclosed porch and I saw the vase of fresh bearded irises from Rachel's flower beds, I knew we were going to enjoy our stay. They are my favourite flower.
This sweet little house was perfect for our stay. The house is simply and thoughtfully decorated to showcase the beautiful features such as the craftsman style fireplace with the built in bookcases.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils although we only had breakfast there. The bathroom is beautiful and modern and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of closet space.
The community is very quiet.
The property is well located and just a short walk to the GO station with service to Toronto and a bit further is the historic downtown area with lots of restaurants to choose from.
Glen Williams is a short drive away and the Terra Cotta area is well worth the drive.
We will definitely keep this property in mind on our next visit.

I grew up in Georgetown and still love getting out to the many trails in the area. I have many hobbies and am very active - outside of my teaching work, I am often hiking, tennis, playing music, or enjoying the cafes and shops nearby.
Queen's Haven was born from my passion for preserving little slices of history, and creating a beautiful space for people to enjoy.
