What a great place to enjoy time together with friends and family. We had a great time. Such a beautiful place to enjoy. Some of us never left the property and just hung out and some went shopping in nearby Gruene and New Braunfels. Great communication with our host!

The property was beautiful, well stocked with kitchen utensils & bathroom towels, & convenient location for all things Gruene & New Braunfels. We had a great time & it was the perfect amount of room for our group (7 adults, 4 kids) to hangout comfortably & cook for everyone. There was deer roaming the properties in the area so that was fun for the kids to look at. The host gave all the need-to-know info a day or two prior to arrival & checked in on us to see if we needed anything while we were there. Our only complaint is the ladder to the loft was pretty steep & kind of oddly shaped. It would be fine for older kids but we felt it was unsafe for our 4- & 5-year-old to navigate alone & it was a bit of a hassle for us adults to assist them. So I would just say unless your kids are 7, don't plan for them to sleep up there.

Girl’s getaway

We had such a great time over the clay festival weekend! The house was even better than we thought it would be. The setup of the house is great for privacy from neighbors. We will definitely be back at some point!!

The accommodations were fine, but we had a poor experience due to the adjoining house. Property management was notified that the adjoining house guests were partying loudly late into the night. Property management reminded the people of the policies, but the people chose to ignore the problem.If you stay here, you run the risk of having extremely loud party noises right outside your bedroom. It felt like they were partying in my room. Solution…….rent both houses.

The house is lovely, beds are comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and has everything you might need to cook a meal. Communication with host was excellent. I would like to suggest to the host to add extra bed pillows and extra blankets.We, personally, would also have enjoyed having a tv in the bedrooms,as there is only 1 in the living room area, we just were not acustomed to that. The grands really enjoyed the pool, its just the right size, and the view from the deck is perfect for morning coffee. The house is very close to Gruene center and that was a big plus! Would absolutely stay there again!

Gorgeous views & great location

The location was perfect. It was far enough out that we felt we were in the country but also super close to everything. It was about a 5 minute drive to Gruene. There are houses to the left and right of this house but it still felt private because of the layout of the houses. The views were gorgeous from the back deck and there were lots of windows so that you can enjoy the views from inside the house as well. We saw several deer in the front yard during our stay. The house was great for our group of 3 couples and 3 teenagers. All of the beds were super comfortable. Our host was very responsive as well. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Gruene.

Great house with great amenities but the guest wing of the house did not cool and master wing was freezing. Other than that, the place was awesome. Loved the washer/dryer and pool.

The house is in a great location and perfect for a family or a small group for river floating. The only issues we had were the water pressure in the kitchen sink was very low. The refrigerator didn’t make ice. The pool lights never worked and the main reason we picked this house was because of the private pool.
