Very nice, cozy cabin to getaway from resort style cabins. My family Loved exploring the property. Very clean and well maintained. Had everything you need!
If you are looking to disconnect and spend time with the family, this is your place. It has everything you need and more. My kids and I loved our stay. Hosts were amazing and attentive. Thank you so much
Wonderful little cabin and such gracious hosts! Everything was very clean and welcoming. Communication was excellent. They went the extra mile with some home-made poppyseed bread and the kids even got to feed the animals. Location is perfect - just a short drive from everything we wanted to see.Thank you again for a wonderful stay!
When we arrived at the location we were greeted by yummy cookies. The place is so nice and clean and was the perfect spot for the things we wanted to see. I will definitely choose this place again.
The hosts were very gracious and welcoming. The property was perfect for my family spending the weekend in Cumberland Falls. My son loved stopping by the farm to feed the animals, and my husband loved the fresh eggs and pumpkin bread. The home was clean and well stocked.
Smaller place but was fine for our party of 3. They only have a comfortable couch that seats three and that is the only soft furniture to sit on. To get there, you have to travel down a short, narrow gravel road. The drive dead ends, so you will have to make a 3-point turn to go back out.Be aware that to get your belongings from the car to the cabin is a bit of a chore. The cabin is up several steps from the parking area. The host left us a nice lemon-poppy seed loaf. Plus you can feed chickens, goats, and horses if you want at the farm at the entrance.Overall, it was a clean, comfortable place with good AC. We really enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It was a comfortable size for 2 adults and 4 kids. There were games and toys for the kids to enjoy and almost no knickknacks / decorations … most places we stay have to be “toddler proofed” when we arrive… but that was not the case here! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. (The only thing we were missing was a standard coffee maker, but with just two of us drinking coffee, we just made use of the Keurig and supplies provided.) Our kids especially enjoyed feeding the farm animals just up the road, climbing on the big rocks on the property, and the campfire and complimentary s’more supplies. There were many thoughtful touches from our hosts, and they responded immediately every time we messaged them.We did a few hiking trips during our stay, and the cabin was only 12 minutes from Cumberland Falls trails and 27 minutes from Yahoo falls. Overall, it was an ideal location for our trip!
We stayed here while visiting Cumberland Falls and the Gap. This is the nicest, cleanest and most well equipped place that we have ever stayed in. It’s in a beautiful location. The hostess was a very friendly lady. She also had plenty of supplies in case you forgot something. She left two pieces of carrot cake that was the bomb! I would recommend this place to anyone!
Beautiful! easy checking in , all the pictures and advertising was exactly the way it was even more beautiful in person .Clean. Everything there for cooking etc .If there are any issues the hosts were right there to help you through. We kind of got lost Had an issue with the password working was resolved right away. We all loved it! Definitely would recommend to anyone and can't wait to come back.Didnt want to leave,I could live here!
Wonderful, warm cabin about 10 minutes from Cumberland Falls
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) all LOVED this cabin! It is secluded and surrounded by woods. Pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived.
The cabin is spotlessly clean and well appointed. The host kindly had homemade banana bread waiting for us as a welcome treat.
There is a rocky, cool creek just a short hike (1-2 minutes) behind the property for guests to enjoy (people or furry friends).
Also, a small farm on property which allows the guests to feed the chickens and goats if they like.
Beds were very comfortable which made the 3 night stay all the better.
Would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!
We have lived in the beautiful state of Kentucky since 2017. We have purchased about 55 acres of woods, pasture, cliffs, and creek line. In 2021, we decided that we wanted to share what we have with others, so we started building cabins. We have two cabins, with plans to build at heat two more. Guests are welcome to come up to feed and pet the horses, goats, chickens, and dog, Annie!
Why they chose this property
We love living in the country close to hiking trails and many outdoor activities
What makes this property unique
It is so peaceful out here—watching and listening to nature!
