Brand new construction directly on Lake Pontoosuc. This home sleeps 14 guests. There is a brand new chef’s kitchen! There are spectacular lake views from wherever you stand. A family room as well as an extra den/game room area. The house offers a side deck with a BBQ that gets sun all day long. There is also a shaded patio are in the back. But the icing on the cake is the bird’s nest on the top floor that looks out over the entire lake and has a outdoor fireplace. It is a really special spot. This home is available for renting Sunday to Sunday during the summer months.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lakefront property. The home was spotless and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The peaceful setting, vibrant fall colors and crisp lakeside air made it the perfect escape. Everything was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and inviting. This house is amazing!! It has 5 large bedrooms, a great family room downstairs with a chess board table and games. The kitchen is gorgeous and very well stocked! The large dining room area and living room are gorgeous, with large windows overlooking the lake. It has 2 decks and a crows nest! We had a large group for a family wedding, and everybody had a lot of space!! It was just a perfect spot for all of us!

Family weekend getaway

The home is beautiful and well kept. The location on the lake and the views are perfect. The floor plan is excellent for a group with lots of space to relax inside and out. The only complaint is the walls are not well insulated for sound. Overall we would love to plan another stay.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The host sent out a helpful, informative email prior to our stay letting us know about places we could go, restaurants to visit, and grocery stores to buy food. She really made planning for this trip less stressful! We had 3 families and 2 young children stay a weekend. The space provided was perfect! Everyone had their own room. The rooms were comfortable and well stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The view was spectacular to wake up to every morning. We loved our trip so much we plan to return again!

We had an amazing trip. The house was beautiful. Perfect for our large family…. Lots of room for everyone. The kids favorite spot was the basement! The lake was fabulous and the roof deck was perfect for the evening hours. House was comfortable amd had it all! We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful views. Main floor had an open floor plan allowing us to all be together comfortably; some watching TV, others conversing at the dining room table while a couple us were in the kitchen making dinner. Each bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds. This was a great place for our family and friends who flew across the country for my daughters college graduation from Williams College.

Perfect Wedding Weekend

We needed a place that would hold our family and extended family, while in town for our son’s wedding. This property was the absolute perfect spot. The house is gorgeous and there was plenty of room for all things ‘pre-wedding’. We had hair and makeup artists that raved about the natural light! Plenty of seating options for shared meals, early morning coffee, and snuggling to watch the sunrise! The views from the house are amazing.There was everything in the house that you could want: including attractive dishes and glassware , comfortable beds, nice linens and towels, shower products, etc. Games for all ages! The kids had fun jumping in the lake (even though it was raining and close to 50 degrees ) and the adults enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board. Outside seating was also well appointed. Plenty of chairs, tables, and umbrellas all in like new condition. A favorite spot for the adults was the third floor deck, everyone loving the large gas fireplace! We could not have found a more perfect place to stay. Maybe we will come back for their future anniversaries!

My husband and I bought our first home on Pontoosuc Lake in 2010. We love The Berkshires and loved sharing this with our children as they were growing up. When they were off in college we had the opportunity to live in London. While we were there we rented out our home and found that we love hosting guests and introducing others to The Berkshires. We bought our second, third, and this is our fourth.

Why they chose this property

The Berkshires offers everything you could want for a vacation. There are activities such as boating, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and snow mobiling. There are beautiful towns to explore like Lenox and Williamstown. There are fabulous restaurants and so much culture. You can see shows with well known actors as well as concerts and museums to visit. In the winter, Jiminy Peak is a 10 minute drive. It is the best skiing in Western Massachusetts. There is something for every age!

What makes this property unique

This home is located directly on Lake Pontoosuc, one of the few motor boat lakes in the area. There is a boat rental facility on the lake and public launches to bring your own. You can swim in this beautifully kept lake., just steps from the back door. This home also offers a roof deck. The views are absolutely incredible! And we have a gas fire pit to keep you warm on cool evenings.
