We had a wonderful stay at the cabin!! It was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The location was great, close to so many things, yet tucked in the woods so you feel secluded. Charlie and Lee were great hosts!!
Delightful location in the trees, plenty of space and outdoors. Cabin rustic with all the necessities. Host was informative, helpful and quickly responsive, Mati, the greeter dog was always there with a simile and wag. Overall a very comfortable experience.
The stay was absolutely perfect! A rustic cabin with all of the necessary amenities required for a good stay. Warm water from the shower and taps and a nice stay! Was great to see Addie the dog visit and Addie got along with our dog as well so they played a bit. Strong wifi speeds as well. Lee & Charlie were very nice and we enjoyed interacting with them as well!
Though a small space, it was plenty for our needs. A happy dog, a sweet horse, quiet roads to walk and wonderful hosts made our stay perfect! Thank you Lee and Charlie.
Lee and Charlie are two of the neatest people you'll ever meet, the cabin was absolutely awesome! Cozy, warm and wonderful. I look forward to my next stay. And it will be soon!

Thank you Bill, that clam chowder was delish! Canned salmon and Tuna amazing!
The cabin was a perfect little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of town, but still within very easy access of everything (i.e., grocery stores, restaurants, etc.). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved having their dog and horse to visit with and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great quiet place to welcome Fall's arrival.
Quiet and immediately comfortable. All the basic stuff is available in this clean and cozy cabin. Just a short jaunt to town for anything you forgot. The new woodstove seriously gets the job done. Lee is a welcoming host and it shows that a lot of thought goes into making the cabin a great home base for wandering the Wildlife preserves, watching the trees change colors, listening to the trains (I love those trains) or a reader's vacation. Bonner's Ferry isn't a place you can fully appreciate if you don't hang out awhile. Had a wonderful time.

Such considerate guests, peaceful and interested in enjoying nature and a relaxing time. I agree the occasional, far off train is a Western and welcome sound which fits with the ambiance of the log cabin. Thanks for being such appreciative guests, come any time!
We have found a perfect getaway! The cabin is nestled in a wooded area complete with both wild animals (deer - mom & fawns; squirrels) and domestic ones (a horse, a dog & 2 cats).
I enjoyed sitting on the front porch, making lavender wands, reading or just enjoying the 'nature quiet.' Lee, the property manager, went out of her way to make sure I had a comfortable place to work on my wands. My husband has very limited mobility and difficulty getting in and out of chairs. Lee looked around until she found a user-friendly chair for him to sit in.
There is Wi-fi for those who can't break from at least some technology; cooking includes a microwave, toaster oven, and a "Nu Wave" cooktop.
The best amenities are things you can't buy: the sound of the wind blowing through the treetops, the squirrels warning the dogs to back away and leave their sites alone plus the gentle sounds of distant animals settling down for the night.
Can't wait to go back.
This was our 2nd stay, the first being last August (2019). We were due to arrive just at sunset; it was 20 degrees F outside. Instead of walking into a cold, dark cabin, we entered into a warm sanctuary with the lights on. We saw a vertical space heater had been set up to keep the place warm.
In the morning, I explored the wood stove and found it had already been prepared for a fire; all I had to do was light the paper! There was ample firewood already chopped and ready to go to keep the fire burning for almost 4 days.
It's the little details that make this a restful place to stay. There are fabulous wood floors; the wood floor would be cold on feet so there were throw rugs strategically placed. A new light fixture with a fan had been installed since our last trip; Lee, the owner/manager, did not want guests arriving smelling the cooked onions from the previous renters.
We're definitely going back!
The cabin was perfect for us. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We hiked nearly every day. The trails and lakes were beautiful. We had two small dogs who were able to be off leash at the cabin and adapted to their dog Addie who visited often. Felt like our home. Lee made our visit easy and enjoyable.
We were warmly welcomed by our hostess, Lee, who explained how various things worked in the cabin.
The beds were very comfortable.
Since we were visiting family nearby, we spent very little time at the cabin. The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay.
Lovely cabin close to a charming area of ID. Hosts are wonderful! The resident animals are a great addition if you are an animal lover. Beautiful restoring time away.
A comfortable log cabin, well located for outdoor activitys.
We had a great time, Snow limited our access to some of the higher country we wanted to explore. We were Whitetail hunting and the weather wasn't ideal( chances you take)
Cozy cabin in wooded area that offers privacy. Comfortable bed. Great communication with Lee during the last 6 months. Enjoyed our stay! Would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay overall. Lee was a good communicator. The place fits the price. The beds were not to our liking. Our dog loved the "yard." We saw deer in the evening, had quiet evenings in the outdoor chairs, and the area was fun to explore.

Interesting about the beds, almost every guest has commented on how comfortable they are, could you further explain? Please?
The cabin was perfect for our week in Bonners Ferry. It's small but has everything one needs. We loved the wood stove and used it every evening. We really enjoyed Addie's visits most evenings...cheesing as she came in.
Great little cozy cabin, Lee and Charlie were great hosts! I recommend!

Thank you gentlemen you were perfect guests with a desire to explore and be a part
of our wonderful area. It is fun to experience the joy of nature vicariously through others experiences.
This is our second time staying at this cabin. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple or a couple with one child. The cabin is very clean, private, and decorated in a welcoming rustic fashion with alot of personal touches. Lee is an excellent host and is very knowledgeable about the local area if you need any tips on places to go or things to do. We are so grateful to have met her, and to have a nice, affordable place to stay where our dog is welcome while we are in town. Look forward to coming back next year!
Stayed with my two young boys and puppy! Host was very welcoming and friendly! Enjoyed our stay
