This was a great location about a hour away from Zion and Bryce National Park. Weather was perfect, cabin was clean and well equipped. Area was very quiet and peaceful. The owner was able to return my questions very quickly.
The getaway was everything we wanted it to be. The cabin was beautiful and the town was great. Definitely an experience to be secluded and away from it all. We had everything we needed and more!Inde was more than happy to communicate with us and we certainly enjoyed the board/card games in the closet! Truly made it a family night every night. Thank you for your hospitality.
Beautiful rustic rental situated in a hilltop. Perfect location for National Park visits. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Definitely needed to start a fire in fireplace to heat the lower house level as the little heater in the wall did not provide much warmth, and the space heater was not very helpful, or maybe it wasn’t working properly. But overall our stay was perfect and we had everything we needed to make a memorable trip to Utah with close friends!!!
We typically head into the mountains for a week to escape the summer heat. This was one of our favorite cabins in the area so far. Great location and great back yard. Very comfortable and clean.
A wonderful cabin in the woods for a quiet getaway. Nice dark skies at night, pine trees and aspens, deer and turkeys roaming the neighborhood, and nice restaurants in town.
The cabin was clean and well furnished with everything that we needed. We especially loved the front porch, campfire for roasting marshmallows, and the grill for burgers. I highly recommend this location.

Thanks
Quiet, peaceful, and clean, and close to both parks.
Comfortable and well stocked with about everything needed for a family stay, this clean and beautiful cabin is situated in a quiet neighborhood with a hardware/general store just down the street for any needed items. Close to both Zion and Bryce and plenty of other outdoor beauty. Host is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
The cabin is the perfect off the beaten path stay for us . The duck creek village was beautiful, we met several local people that were amazing ! Cabin had all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Unfortunately we had a family emergency and had to leave a day early. Hope to be able to come back soon !
Wonderfully appointed cabin in Duck Creek. Lovely amenities with everything you need, and nothing you don't. There wasn't a box left unchecked for us. The downstairs size of the cabin played as a benefit as we were able to cook, eat, and relax all while being close enough to consider it family time, but not so close as to feel we were ever on top of each other. Upstairs was a dream with a wonderfully large master bedroom as well as a good sized room for our two kids. Looking forward to our next trip sooner than later!
The Green Door Lodge was the perfect spot for seclusion in nature with access to modern amenities. Our family stayed here with our infant daughter so having access to a modern kitchen, washer/ dryer, and WiFi really helped our vacation feel like home while getting to experience the beautiful scenery that surrounds the cabin. With the Lodge being pet friendly we also got to bring our dogs, who absolutely loved their stay as well. The cabin was in great condition, immaculate throughout, and owners were nice enough to ensure kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with basic essentials. Our stay was during winter season so we utilized a lot of the fire wood stocked by the cabin owners to run the cabin’s beautiful wood burning fireplace. We will absolutely book again!
We recently stayed at the Green Door Lodge and had a wonderful time! The cabin is as charming on the outside as it is on the inside.
What We Loved:
*Location: The proximity to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks as well as Cedar Breaks National Monument made it a great place to serve as home base for exploring the area. It is also a great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet.
*Comfort & Amenities: The cabin had a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a fireplace that helped take the chill out of the air. Although we did not use it, there is also a firepit in the beautiful backyard set up for enjoying conversation under the stars.
Surrounding Area: Duck Creek Village is a small community where you can find food and adventure. We particularly enjoyed the Pinewoods Resort which was recommended by Inde, the host. Inde was fantastic to work with! She was quick to respond to any messages that were sent to her. Even late in the evening.
The one thing that you will need to be aware of is the very steep hill that you encounter as you drive up to the cabin. This is not much of a problem in dry weather, but in wet or snowy weather, could be a challenge. But Inde provides alternate directions to the cabin to eliminate the hill.
Overall, Green Door Lodge is a fantastic place to stay for a peaceful getaway. We would highly recommend it and would stay again!
We stayed at this cabin July 24-31, 2025. It was a great place to stay! We loved everything about the cabin. The location was almost perfect for us as we wanted to visit Zion, Bryce Canyon and Kanab area. It is pretty close to being in the middle of all of them. About one hour and twenty minutes from Zion and 1 hour to Bryce Canyon. The other bonus is that it is in the higher elevations. The week we were there the temps in Zion were between 100 and 110 degrees. At the cabin the highest it got was around 80 and the nights would drop to 45-50. It was beautiful sleeping weather to get rested for the next days adventures! The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen had very nice newer appliances and was well stocked with everything you would need. The backyard was amazing as well! It had a nice firepit and grill. Plenty of room to enjoy the cool mountain evenings. The host was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly. Check in was a breeze as well. All around 5 stars and would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit SW Utah.

We are adventures! That's why we love Duck Creek Village. It gives our family opportunities to snowmobile, ride our SxS and sit by the fire, and relax. Jerry loves to fish and our dog "Jack" a yellow lab, enjoys jumping in the lake. We are delighted to share our family cabin with you and hope that you have fun adventures during your stay.
Why they chose this property
Green Door Lodge is located on the mountaintop just above the village. It's about a 5-minute drive to Main St where you'll find restaurants, a few shops, and Polaris rental companies. This cabin is ideal for starting your day, waking and having your morning coffee on the upstairs deck rocking chairs overlooking the Dixie National Forest. Take advantage of the massive trail system whether you are hiking, biking, snowmobiling, or scooting around on your razor. If you are prepared with flashlights and warm clothes check out the Mammoth Caves nearby or hike to Cascade Falls (near Navajo Lake). If you're up for a short drive (Zion & Bryce National Park) is a one-hour day trip. Bryce National Monument is 30 min away. When your daytime adventures are done cozy up to the toasty wood-burning fireplace and enjoy cooking in a fully stocked chef's kitchen.
What makes this property unique
We love spending time at the cabin and we have stocked it with all the comforts you would want in your home away from home. We offer starter supplies and some coffee pods. The cabin and property are so close but you'll have privacy and feel like you're in an enchanted forest world.
