Sunset Bay Lodge

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy private, newly remodeled home with outdoor patio, lighting, grill, outside fire pit, large yard, boat landing 1 mile away, and South Long Lake Dam 2 blocks away. Driveway is able to fit 2 trucks with trailers. The view of the sunset is amazing at this location. This property is unique as it was the former Busbey's store that sold groceries, gas, and supplies. It operated from the 1930's till the mid 1980's. Enjoy!

The stove is a glass top stove inside was all clean sometimes if you're not familiar with glass top stoves they are harder to cook on. They also get scratch due to the glass. Feel like stove is clean for glasstop.

Quick vacation

My family and I always enjoy a long weekend in the Brainerd area. The house was a perfect fit to our trip. House was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Brainerd Experience

Home was very well appointed with everything we needed and more. The location was convenient to the Brainerd area. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful in answering our questions. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and soaking in the beautiful weather while watching wildlife in the backyard.

Everything was great and loved the cozy atmosphere but inside and outside of this vrbo. The outside had our own little park feel with the fire pit, picnic table and trees. The only critique I had is the stove was very very dirty and difficult to cook on. Everything else seemed clean

Here for the races at BIR

We arrived to a very clean house in a fantastic location. We could not have been happier. My brother, his grandson, my son and one of my grandsons and another grandson stayed at the property. If we come up again for the motorcycle races, we will definitely look at renting this property once again.

Better than expected

The house is great! Has everything you could think of for basic essentials and more. The host set us up to truly enjoy our time when at the house, including firewood, games and movies. House is close to town, making it easy to grab groceries. Would 100% book again.

Quick weekend vacation

It was amazing staying at this very nicely redone home. It’s decorated beautifully and it was stocked way more than you would expect. The little things have all been thought of cotton balls Qtips and many more things. The only thing we ran into which happens often because 7 of us the pans are not big enough but I usually try bring. And we couldn’t find a marshmallow stick. But they maybe had and we missed it. We would easily stay again!!

This property was perfect for our family of 5. Great location to visit our family, very easy check in and checkout process. The house had all the basics you would need for cooking and laundry etc. All we had to bring was our suitcases and ourselves! We come to this area often and would definitely stay here again!
