Nice Home near the Park

Excellent Hosts and quick resolve on a few issues that arose during our stay - additional wine glasses were dropped off within an hour, and rear door lock codes were resolved immediately. A very nice home that we would certainly rent again, which directly backs onto a park in a nice neighbourhood with a large children's playground - a perfect location. There are a number of issues that show wear & tear and do not live up to the term 'Luxury' but the hosts were very receptive and thankful for being provided a list of repair items, and I'm confident the repairs will be completed to keep the luxury marketing of the property active. Very uncooperative owners. We arrived to find the basement bedroom had flooded. Maintenance people were there Friday night to move all the furniture into the basement and garage making both areas unusable. We were down a king sized bedroom for our stay. The owners have refused to compensate us in any way. When we realized we’d forgotten an item of clothing, they didn’t even have the courtesy to offer to mail it back considering the issues we’d experienced. Instead they demanded a minimum 50 “retrieval “ fee. We ended up feeling entirely taken advantage of.
