Sarah was awesome! She did an incredible job with communication and put a ton of thought into the house having everything needed for our family. Our family, ranging from 2 years old to 76 years old, had a blast!

Sarah was the best VRBO host I’ve ever had, no contest. She reached out to me early to help us plan a great Yellowstone visit. She created a personalized website to help us plan our trip. She provided great recommendations. Plus, she is just such a happy, nice person. Their home was perfect. We had 3 families including 6 pre-teens. Perfect set up for us. I really couldn’t say anything better about the experience. Great place to stay for Yellowstone but away from the touristy West Yellowstone town.

WOW. There truly aren't any equals for this property near West Yellowstone. If you'd like to be based in this area and Life of Riley Lodge is available, take it!! The location was stunning; it was such a treat to have the lake there (with a full complement of kayaks, canoes, etc!). The house was immaculate and fully stocked with kitchen tools, puzzles board games, beach towels, gym equipment, you name it! Our delightful host even left concession-style candy to enjoy with movie nights! Speaking of which, a huge part of the joy of this home comes with its attentive and caring owner, Sarah. I spoke with Sarah multiple times on the phone beforehand, and she thoughtfully designed a full Yellowstone itinerary for our family; even making us a customized website! It was truly like hiring a boutique travel concierge service. She was also very responsive; when I misjudged the time it would take to arrive at the cabin and showed up 1.5hrs early with melting ice cream in the summer heat, she was gracious enough to let us in early. Overall, we can't recommend Life of Riley Lodge as a home base more strongly. One of the highlights of our family vacation!

We went to experience the splendor and majesty of Yellowstone; it's not disappoint. The stay at the Life of Riley Lodge more than enhanced our visit to YNP! The house was well appointed, well decorated, quite comfortable and featured many amenities both inside and out. The thoughtful layout, the provision of basic needs and quality materials for kitchen, linens, as well as the two sets of full sized washer and dryer for laundry, and the outdoor activities make life easy and lots of fun. Our family loved coming back every day to the lake with the kayaks, fishing dock and area for evening fires and toasting marshmallows. We played every night and if we weren't playing we sat on the upper deck and reveled in the beauty of Henry Lake. Check in and out was made easy. Our host spoke with me on several occasions upon booking and prior to check in and provided much valuable information and wonderful referrals and activity suggestions. It was smooth and effortless. We had eleven people: seven adults (one set of grandparents) and three families including a twelve year old, and small children aged 4,3 and 7 months. There was comfortable and appropriate space for all. I would highly recommend the Life of Riley Lodge and would love to return again in the future.

Beautiful cabin and views. Cabin was very clean and the owner was extra informative on things to do in the area and safety for the outdoors. It's a super fun getaway with the lake, canoes, fishing and games. Our family loved it!

We had an amazing time staying here! This house is the standard for all other VRBO houses. The kitchen is so well stocked with equipment and spices it left nothing to be desired. Sarah is so responsive and antcipates every need. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing place to stay

We had an amazing time staying in this wonderful cabin. Just relaxing on the deck or in front of the outdoor fires. All the extras including outdoor blankets and games were there. Thank you for making our family vacation one of the best vacations ever.

Beautiful!

Well stocked, beautifully maintained home with a great view on Henry’s Lake. Easy access to Yellowstone. Great location if you want easy access to everything but still want a quiet place to get away. Owner’s of the property were very helpful in planning our trip and giving advice on things to see.

Wonderful place to vacation

Amazing property with beautiful views. Very close to Yelllowstone Park which makes for perfect day hiking trips to park and able to come back with nice evening views down by the lakefront. All amenities were nice and very organized. Sarah was so helpful in planning our trip even with suggestions on specific requests. Thanks for helping us to have such a wonderful vacation!

Great Spot

Lovely home on a great lot by the lake. Lot's of activities and fun for a family with kids 7-14 years old. Located near Madison River fishing spots and West Yellowstone entry to the park. Great and helpful hosts that helped us sort through a DIY Yellowstone week. Highly recommended!!

What a perfect house for a family reunion!

We came from both coasts, Oakland, California and Boston, Mass, as well as from the foothills north of Boulder, Colorado to enjoy being a family together. Your home on the beautiful Henry's Lake was just perfect in so many ways. We loved visiting Yellowstone Park and jumping in the water at the end of the day!

Absolutely Fabulous

This was a trip of a lifetime for my family. Thirteen of us were occupied very comfortably in this place. Very comfy beds and high quality sheets and bedding throughout. Kids had an awesome time outside and on the lake. Sarah is an amazing host.

Long weekend with friends

Our stay at island park was amazing! Sarah provided us with all the information that we needed to make our trip perfect. We spent 5 perfect days exploring Yellowstone and fishing the Madison River. The house has everything you could possibly need and is beautifully done. We would come back in a heartbeat!
