Our stay in Columbia Falls was very conveniently located to GNP and our planned activities. The home was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were cards, games, and TV for relaxation in the evening. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our stay at this darling home. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while we visited GNP. We would definitely stay here again!

If you are picky about cleanliness this is not a place for you. On arrival there was an odor that was not pleasant. It was worse in the basement which was where one of the bedrooms was (we did not notice that in the listing and it is steep to the basement with low head clearance, not great for anyone that is older or has physical challenges). There was food crumbs under the coffee table in the living area. The furniture in the living area seemed dirty/stained as did the mattresses on the beds. We found a bug on one of the mattresses and cannot say it was bed bugs but nevertheless finding that really turned us off. We tried contacting the host by messaging and calling and it took quite a long time for them to get back to us. The kitchen area and bathrooms did seem to be quite clean. There was an area at the top of the steps where there was accumulated dirt/dust and dog hair, and baseboards and window sills in some of the areas were not very clean. Another thing we found quite odd is that we were expected to wash all of the bedding and put it in the dryer and then start a load of towels before we were able to leave on the day we were checking out. We had planned to leave very early in the morning so that would have delayed us. We ended up deciding not to stay and had to drive 4 hours before we could find a lodging for the night. We ended up forfeiting our two nights that we had paid for and have no hope of retrieving any of our money. Others may be fine staying here, not us.
Convenient, cozy, and comfortable home! So easy to walk to town, full amenities in kitchen, great wifi, and more. Property owner great!whelpfwithquestions and needs.
The house was clean and ready for settling in. The host is very accommodating if we had any questions. The fenced area for a pet is small but was usable. The only downsides are a larger dog can jump up on the dog house and over the fence. My small dog was able to squeeze through the gate. The great grandkids camped outside in their tent and really enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
The house was exactly as described, we loved it. Very well stocked and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Close to everything. Dixie was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive. I would highly recommend and definitely would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay, the location was easy to get to all the places as described. I loved the patio, the mattresses, pillows, shower (and water pressure), how comfy the whole feeling of the place was. However, the trains are close to the property and sound their horns during the night, which is out of the owner’s control. However I wish I would have known about it.

Property was clean. House was nicely decorated and spacious for our family of 5. Within walking distance to grocery store and downtown restaurants/shops. Easy drive to/from Glacier National Park.
The house was very clean, recent renovation well done. Very comfortable for the 4 of us, lots of room to relax. Great location for 3 days of golf, and lots of amenities close by. Beds were all comfortable, kitchen very functional. Dixie was very helpful with any questions we had.
We loved our stay as a home base for Glacier National Park. Great location close to the park (20 min drive), quiet neighborhood yet close to town. Nice clean house with room for the family. Bring earplugs for the nearby train. Well stocked kitchen.
My husband and I traveled to glacier for our birthday weekend, we biked going to the sun road and we're pleased to stay in Columbia falls away from the hustle and bustle of the national park. We loved the cottage and the thoughtful decor and especially the fully stocked big kitchen! We did find the queen mattress upstairs was really soft so we used the downstairs one. As other reviewers mentioned it is very close to a railroad crossing, which wasn't a problem for us, but good to know for others.
Overall was very happy with the property. Clean, comfortable and great location! Might want to mention proximity to train tracks. Didn’t bother us, but some guests may want a heads up. Also, may want to mention 3rd bedroom is down steep stairs. Not a big deal for us,but might be for some.Lastly another garbage or recycling bin outside would be helpful for longer stays. We had a great time in the beautiful Flathead Valley!! We appreciate Dixie opening up her house for us
