About the host
Hosted by Mirna
You will find us, Mirna and Neven – a couple in our thirties, who decided to plant our roots here and live with this village, to be a part of its awakening, the renaissance, and to cherishing all that countryside life all can be.
In this tiny village Mikuličići we are creating organic experience and luxury of simplicity in slow stays and collection of rural happenings where with each guests encounter new energy is being sprouted.
Why they chose this property
This is the land of my grandfather. In my adult life it has been a dream that uncovered its clarity over time, for this village to become a place filled with care for grounds and stone houses.
To be a place of living and working. Organic village for guests and travellers to have a home where you can enjoy authenticity. Where you are appreciating slower pace and grounding.
What makes this property unique
This authentic Istrian stone village with original wooden constructions in its houses is more than 150 years old.
Here, you can enjoy the simplicity of living and resting, have tailor made experiences and happenings (picnic baskets, private dinners in olive garden, etc.) or enjoy the snuggly barn 'Dvor' for small intimate celebrations.
You can choose among 3 different homes in a completely renovated authentic stone house or you can have them all for your cherished and friendly circle of your people.
The village shares the effort towards more sustainable and self-efficient living. Indoor and outdoor areas are dedicated to philosophy of non-harmful and non-toxic ways of handling the water, grounds (soil, fruits, garden, olive trees) and everything else that is at your and nature’s disposal.
