It was a pleasure to host you! We do hope you and the rest of the family will be able to return very soon. Thank you for stopping in and being fabulous guests.
This treehouse is an outstanding stop along US49 while heading across Mississippi. The bed upstairs was really comfortable and the scenic views are wonderful. They also had a fishing pond for my son to use and it had some hungry bass. The communication from the hosts was amazing and the cookies were delicious!

My son and I stayed here one night on our way to "Cruisin' the Coast". The little house was very clean, and the bed upstairs was extremely comfortable. The owners were very nice and accommodating...even offered to go pick us up a pizza! Thanks for the homemade cookies and southern hospitality.

It was a pleasure to host you both! Please think of us if you are in our area in the future.
This was the perfect spot for my husband and me and our two young children. We were only there for a night passing through, but we wish we could have stayed longer. The house was so clean and every detail was thought of by the owners. We definitely will come stay again when we can spend more time and enjoy the beautiful property.

Thank you for your kind words! We do hope the kids had a fantastic time at camp. We are overjoyed that you enjoyed the stay. We look forward to hosting you all again soon.
Great place to stay for the night. Beautiful location and out dogs loved the land. We are very agile and in shape. The stairs to the bedroom are a little steep and narrow. Also, if you need to get up at night to use the bathroom it may make it difficult.

Paula was a fantastic guest! They communicated well throughout their stay and left the treehouse in perfect order. They were thoughtful and respectful. We would be happy to host Paula again in the future.
I was looking for something fun to do for my husband’s birthday and this was just right. We had everything we needed for a sweet getaway in the trees. The hosts were kind and let us know they were there if we needed anything and otherwise we were free to roam about. We wandered the trails a bit and went to Magee for dinner, otherwise we stayed cozied up right here. Loved it!

Should you have any future plans to visit the area again, we would be honored to host you.
We were heading from Dallas area to Destin and wanted a place to stay about halfway. This popped up and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The owners were so nice. They even gave our son a birthday gift as we stopped to stay on his birthday. The treehouse is adorable. It is small but that is part of the charm. A small family of 2 adults and 2 children 8 and under fit perfectly. We are going to stop and stay on our way back as well to hopefully take advantage of the trails and outdoors. Highly recommend!!

It was a true pleasure to host this sweet family. We are thrilled the stay was enjoyable. It is our hope your beach vacation was the best. Thank you for the kind words and a wonderful review.
We absolutely loved this charming property. I have shown photos to everyone. It was such a blessing to find something so close to where I needed to be for my Grandfather’s memorial. A true hidden gem. The only thing I regret is that I did not have more time to enjoy it. It would have been nice to have had the time to sit out by the fire put and take a small hike on the grounds. The view of the stats was perfectly wonderful … clear skies allowed all sorts of constellation viewing. Oh and I loved the fairy house stump on the short lighted path to the treehouse! This may be my favorite B&B I’ve ever stayed at. Cannot thank you enough!

We liked it so much that we stayed again on our way back from Destin. It is a very unique treehouse tiny home. Our small family of 2 adults and 2 kids under 8 fit just fine. The owners were kind enough to provide a cart as it is a couple hundred feet from the parking spot to the tree but I think this is a plus. Plenty of privacy but also the owners were very attentive and responded to messages immediately. They gave us a great recommendation for a local Mexican restaurant we enjoyed during our stay. Jose’s Mexican. The trails are pretty neat and the building was clean and cozy. We look forward to coming back!!

Thank you for booking a stay at the treehouse, Tyler. It was great to hear of your five-star experience at the Owls Nest Treehouse. As a new, small business, your thoughts and reviews are our lifeline and matter to us very much. Thank you, again, for booking a getaway and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
Such a great little gem among the trees. It was perfect for the 2 of us. We will bring our daughter next time. The fresh homemade cookes and milk were a nice surprise for us after the drive in. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and it was just so peaceful. We didnt get a chance to explore the walkong trails but that will certainly be done on our next visit. The hosts were so accommodating and we had everything we needed. I cooked a simple meal using the induction stove and ninja oven. The bed was so comfortable, we didn't want to get up, especially with the views. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I decided to take a quick overnight trip away with kids and stumbled upon this gem. The house is perfectly cozy and very well decorated. We were under the impression this was a chain after arriving, until we reviewed the IG page. The property owners seem relatively close (100 yards or so), but we still felt isolated. The view from the back porch is great and very peaceful. Waking up to the sunshining and birds singing is worth it alone. Potential improvements: Knob on fire pit was stripped and difficult to turn on. We walked trails around the property, but watch out for poison ivy. Trail map would be helpful if not already available. Some additional mood lighting would be nice around the sofa/ living area as the lights are on the brighter side.

Thank you Dustin for your review- each one mean the world to us! We will make note of your recommendations as a new, small business it is important. The trails do grow quickly and the rain does add to the growth. We will ensure to review the situation diligently. A map of the trails can be found in our House Information folder and most have a sign (the signs were a beautiful custom addition from a local business 😊). For the living room lighting the main light/fan is dimable, however a small lamp might be a lovely option. Thank you so much for your kindness, invaluable input, and support. We hope to see you back at Pines and Pillows Treehouses in the future.
We were going to Gulf Shores and wanted to break up the drive. I saw this place and decided after reading the reviews to try it. It was the cutest little tiny treehouse cabin. Extremely clean! Very quiet and peaceful. Owners live on the property and easy to communicate if you need anything. They provided a wagon to put our bags in to take to the treehouse. Which was very helpful. It is a bit of a walk but not really far from your parking spot. It’s just a couple of miles off the main highway but yet a country setting. Easy to get to. I would recommend 10/10

My husband and I wanted to take a weekend trip to Laurel, MS for the Chili Cookoff and searched for a peaceful cabin or treehouse out of town in a woodsy area. This was the PERFECT place for us. The treehouse cabin is so peaceful and complete with all the amenities necessary for a few nights stay in comfort. We especially enjoyed evenings and mornings with coffee out by the fire pit. The treehouse is clean, cozy, and inviting. Checkin and checkout are easy and all necessary information is provided. Hosts Crystal and Charles were very welcoming and friendly and available by message if you need anything. If my husband and I hadn't had spent the whole day on Saturday in Laurel, we could have easily spent it on the property's trails, fishing or picnicking by the ponds, lounging in the hammocks, or playing games, reading books, and just relaxing by the firepit. The location is not far off the main highway, but far enough that you are surrounded by a wooded area that is very peaceful and relaxing. The treehouse is a short walk from the parking spot along a well-lit, wide path and the hosts provide a wagon upon request to haul your things to and from the treehouse.

What a lovely review...thank you for staying with us and your kind review. 😊
From the communication to the check out and everything in between made this exactly what I wanted. I booked this as a little one night get away to refresh and have a little retreat for myself as a busy pastor's wife and mom. It was everything I needed and WAY MORE than I expected. THE BED! I can't even tell you the last time I had the rest I had BUT the bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. The pillows were perfect, and the bedding was TOP NOTCH butter smooth and soft high quality. They had little touches all over the place. Hot cocoa, snacks, games, books, a record player, a wonderful easy to work fire pit, and trails to walk. The only downside was that I didn't stay an extra night. I WILL BE BACK! The place was SUPER CLEAN. SMELLED GREAT and made me feel like I was really in the trees in some far away place and not in Mississippi. Perfect time. Oh, and the sky at night....it was just a great cozy place.
