Casa Colibri - Los Delfines

Casa Colibri is a beautiful 3 bedroom home in the Los Delfines Complex, located on the perfect part of Sayulita's north beach. Two crystal clear salt-water pools, beautiful landscaping, and a private garden/palapa area for BBQs, sun bathing, and relaxing in the hammocks. Daily maid service included. We have air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms.

Welcome to Casa Colibri in the lush beachfront community of Los Delfines.

Los Delfines is one of the most popular places to stay in Sayulita. The gardens are impeccably maintained, as are our two beautiful swimming pools with the new salt-filter systems to keep the water clean and fresh. A short winding path brings you to the perfect spot on Sayulita's north beach. Several great restaurants (Tropical House, Terrazola, Pizza Venezia, Cafe Arte and Medusa) are just a two minute walk down the street and in less than 10 minutes you can be anyplace in town to enjoy all the incredible amenities Sayulita has to offer.

Casa Colibri is one of the twelve beautiful homes which make up Los Delfines. We have a large, beautiful, and private backyard garden area with a palapa big enough for a large BBQ or perfect for some quiet time to sunbathe, read your favorite book, or just fall asleep in the hammock.

Our maid, Angelica, comes in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. She will even do your laundry if you like. We have several excellent personal chefs we can recommend if you'd like to have someone come in and cook an incredible meal for you at home one night. If you need any help finding or booking adventures (i.e. sailing, snorkeling, surfing, deep-sea fishing, horseback riding, jungle tours, etc.), we would be happy to help with suggestions and arrangments. We find Sayulita to be one of the most amazingly beautiful, friendly, enjoyable places to be and are sure you will too.

The common beachfront area provides the perfect place to gather and watch the surfers, fishermen, and some of the most beautiful sunsets you could ever imagine.

I live just a stone's throw away and am always happy to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. I can suggest restaurants, activities, and whatever you need to take advantage of all the beauty Sayulita has to offer.

Perfect location

Our one week at Casa Colibri was fantastic. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 teens and all had fun at this perfectly located home. The short path to the beach was easy with hands full of chairs and cervezas! A two minute walk took us to a fantastic pizza place, 5 mins to the market and 10 to the core of town. Loved it and will go back for sure!

The place was amazing, highly recommended. Very clean, well cared for and well stocked. Had a washer and dryer and they came and cleaned during our stay which was unexpected. Would happily return.

Great Location, Easy Communication, EXCELLENT HOST

Casa Colibri was the perfect fit our stay in Sayulita! The location was close to everything yet still super quiet at night it be can be very noisy in town (5 minute walk) . The rooms had cold AC and the unit was cleaned daily. The local house contact was SUPER helpful when we had a few minor issues (locked ourselves out of a room, etc) as well. We would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

Great location, nice place

This is a great place to stay. Everyone of our group had an excellent time. The rooms are a good size, the kitchen and outdoor areas are perfect. The downsides I would say is that the laundry area is locked and not available, except while the clearers are there - which is a huge pain. It would be nice if it was just open to use like many of the other properties around it. The safe is located in one of the bedrooms, which is fine unless you need something out of it and someone is in there - which happens a lot as well. Lastly, we ran out of water the second to last day and it wasn’t refilled so we had to buy our own. Other than that, it’s a great place and we would recommend it to others.

No to Sayulita...House was nice , complex was well keep and beautiful.

This was our second time to Sayulita and will be our last. I can’t recommend it at all the town is way over crowded it’s so busy and crowded you can’t even get around. The town is filthy the beach is overwhelmed with dogs running everywhere so many people have dogs and walk them free on the beach as well as the feral dogs which leaves the beach with dogs urinating and feces everywhere it’s so disgusting. All 6 people in our party got sick and most everyone staying in the other houses in the complex were sick at some point as well. The house was nice enough (a few cockroaches ) the cleaning lady did a great job cleaning everyday and the complex is well keep and beautiful the location is great a short walk from the craziness of town. But just not worth going to that town , I would not recommend Sayulita.

Exactly what we expected! Perfect distance to the village and close to the beach.

Great accommodations, clean. Eric was a helpful host. Community is safe, neighbors are friendly. AC in all bedrooms. Pictures represent the property well. House cleaner cooked us a fantastic, Mexican Thanksgiving meal! We'll be back for sure. ;)

Thanks again for everything. Would definitely rent from u guys again. I appreciate the recommendations and all the accommodations. If we rent again we would need to stay in one of the houses with air conditioning in more rooms instead of one room. The showers had good water pressure and the king size bed was very comfortable to sleep. I loved that we were close to town that we could walk but not too close to where it was really noisy at night with the baby. I loved the pool in front and being right by the beach. We loved the town and the people. We were sad to leave. FYI the hot water in kitchen sink and water pressure is not good. We washed dishes in bathroom sink. Eric was really nice and easy going. So nice that there were beach chairs and the umbrella.

We loved our week in this Casa- from the beautiful art, comfortable decor, spaciousness, large private yard and palapa, seriously stocked kitchen ( all except the availability of sharp knives) and easy access to the beautiful beach.

Nice, but pricey and needed some TLC.

Nice 3-bedroom house, although a bit in need of some TLC (paint, new lamps, etc). We were met by Eric on the day we arrived, didn't see him again, didn't really need to, but he was available when we texted him with questions. The maids come but really only do bare minimum, one day they didn't come at all, which was annoying. Pools were cold so we never used them. Nice place, but overpriced in my opinion as compared to other places I've vacationed. Sayulita Beach is across "THE RIVER" and is truly a hippie hangout so be prepared for that, but this home is on the "right" side of the river so it didn't affect our stay. Nice to have towels and chairs there and a grill, we used all.

Beautiful location and house

The property is very nice, the walk to the beach is very short through the other houses along a little path. The pool was a hit with my littlest (3 yo). The house is lovely and cool even without air conditioning. Many of the lights were burnt out or didn’t work, the electrical is a little scary but probably totally normal for this neck of the woods! We felt like we had an authentic experience staying at Casa Colibri and walking to town or the beach daily for food and fun. We used the barbecue a couple times and it was great. It was a nice change from the all inclusive craziness: we felt relaxed when we left not exhausted like we often do when we stay at a big resort! Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!!

Beautiful home & excellent location

This home is exactly as pictured! The location is perfect. It's so close to town which is walking distance. It's a 1 minute walk to the beach (literally). Having housekeeping every day was a big plus too.

Perfect Location and Great Villa

The home was on the North side of town, far enough away that it's quiet when you want it to be, yet still a very short walk from everything. A couple nice pools, and right on the beach. Eric was great and gave me a lot of the local info. Would recommend to anyone...

Great family place

We really enjoyed staying here. Myself, my husband and 4 year old had a fantastic time. The front door open right out to the pool. The complex is right next to a turtle camp that was releasing baby turtles nightly. Ben, the local contact was incredibly nice and helpful. She sorted a boat trip and cart rental as well as made great recs for other local spots. Thanks, we had a wonderful time!

Amazing place!

This house was perfect for our group of 6. It's clean, right next to one of the pools, and walking distance into town and the beach. The maid comes every day which is a nice treat. Eric, the house manager is helpful. We rented a golf cart but it wasn't necessary. Great place!

Great experience at Casa Colibri. Feels like an authentic Mexican hacienda right on the beach. Walking distance to town and restaurants/shopping. Eric and his assistant, Ben, were great and always very responsive.

Little slice of paradise

This was our second year in Sayulita, but first time staying in the Los Delfines complex (we had scouted the prior year and knew we wanted to stay here for the location). Although we had our hearts set on an ocean view suite, Casa Colibri did not disappoint!!! The house itself was very clean and well kept, and we felt very safe and secure. The daily maid service was a wonderful surprise! We really enjoyed the options the house provided: lounge in the salt water pool directly out the front door (it's the nicest pool in the complex), hang out in the hammocks in the private back palapa, or walk the 10 steps to the ocean to enjoy the quieter side of the beach. Many people rent golf carts in town as there are too many hills to walk, but no need here. It's a short, flat, 5-10 min walk to the town and the busier side of the beach. Eric, the manager, was very laid back and great to deal with. We are definitely looking to book Colibri again in 2015!

Great location, nice pool, responsive owner. Very convenient to have a W/D, and the cleaning staff was excellent. We had a problem with spiders and ants in our bedroom.
