King size bed with luxurious linens, Cariloha Bamboo sheets, 'the softest sheets on the planet' are included. All linens, including beach towels are provided.

A fully stocked kitchenette with all the equipment you need to make a quick snack or a complete gourmet meal for two. Stainless steel cookware, knives, spices, olive oil, blender, toaster oven, paper towels....everything!

Perfectly small couples beach studio. Best spot for easy beach access. Walkable to beach clubs and food. Very safe and romantic. Hot water, purified water, and great security. I’d highly recommend. One issue was the hot plate to use to cook wasn’t working but there’s a toaster oven and microwave. Not a party type place, chilled atmosphere in the residencias reef area.

Wonderful! Super convenient for scuba divers

Location is awesome! Literally a few steps from the beach. Boat picks you up at the pier close by. It's like having your own beach. Sounds crazy, but I love that the place has tons of hooks to hang your stuff. The washer/dryer needs to be sanitized. Veronica and Conchita made an incredible meal that lasted us 2 days. Beef tacos, stuffed vegetarian poblano peppers, guac, green sauce, pico de mayo, freshly made chips. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place. Location is insuperable

The description and photos were short of how beautiful and well located the property is. The back porch opens directly into the white sands of Cozumel. It has all you need for your stay. Ellen (the owner) is great with excellent communication and information. Veronica, the housekeeper, is wonderful, she can even cook for you. Do not miss the opportunity to let her delight you with typical Mexican food. It is useful to have a car. There is a restaurant bar at walking distance to the left on the beach (500 yards). Do not forget to bring your snorkel gear. We will be back soon.

Just Amazing!

My husband an I enjoyed a wonderful week in Cozumel in this condo. The property is nicely secured with a place to park a rental car. It was decorated so well, but the view is breathtaking. We enjoyed every aspect of the unit. Everything has been so so well thought out. The kitchen is small but extremely functional-we didn't need a thing- hot plate -coffee maker microwave and a small full size refrigerator. The sliding glass doors were so clean I didn't know they weren't opened. No streaks just incredibly clean. We had a meal made by Veronica 1 night that was enough for 2 more days. It was fabulous- and very reasonable. Ellen was very attentive to us- everything was really wonderful. The pool was clean the beach is amazing!

Paradise!

As close to perfection as one can get? Yes. Yes this is. We stayed 8 nights. The first 3 evenings we went out exploring for dinner. Found some nice places. (👍🏻 The Money Bar) BUT, the rest of the evenings, after Ellen told us about Dona Cheley’s (a roadside grill near the entrance of the property) we bought our dinners from her and never left our beautiful space again! Came home from daily dives to beautiful relaxation watching the incredible nightly sunsets right from our own patio! If you want to prepare meals yourself, the kitchenette area is stocked with everything you will need. I could go on & on, but suffice it to say I can’t imagine a better place for a couple to relax and enjoy God’s beautiful creation together. Ellen is a very responsive host and quickly handled everything necessary from our first interactions until our departure. Book this! You won’t regret it.

On the Beach!

Ellen was very communicative and would rent from her again. Beautifully decorated studio on the beach. Pros: Location, stocked with literally everything you’d need in the bathroom or kitchen including spices. GREAT local food vendor about 100 yds to the North for excellent breakfast. Newer washer and dryer with cute little song that plays shen it’s done. Cons: I think it’s a grinder pump for the sewage because you’re able to flush TP here but it sounds like a propeller airplane taking off whenever anybody in the building flushes...day or night. Not the owner’s fault but real. This chill property is sandwiched between a beach club to the South and Secrets Aura to the North. The latter had thumping music until 11:00 one night. At least not every night. The parking is a little bit of a walk but there’s a circle drive you can pull up to load or unload. Very well stocked but very TIGHT kitchen area. Watch when you’re taking things out of the cabinets or things could accidentally FALL out. Learn to use a toaster oven as there is no cook top but I knew that going in. Overall VERY happy with the experience. Didn’t want to leave.

Gorgeous views & Tastefully decorated!

Ellen's place is exactly as pictured and described! Since it is a little South of town, we rented a car at the airport and made a pit stop at Mega (similar to a super Walmart) just for some cereal, fruit and snacks. Everything was clean, FULLY STOCKED (you truly just need your clothes, everything else is there!!), felt completely and totally safe and not to mention the stunning views as soon as you walk in the front door! Residencias Reef dock is an excellent place for any snorkeling/scuba diving your heart desires; the companies will pick you up directly from the dock and bring you back. I suggest snorkeling in El Cielo; take a day trip to Chichen Itza (who doesn't want to see one of the 7 wonders of the world?), and simply relaxing on the beach or at one of the two pools. As far as restaurants go, try Casa Denis; Guidos; or Panchos Backyard. For drinks, this is a MUSTTTTT!!! Travel past the southern lighthouse (Punta Sur) and you'll end up on the Eastern side of the island. Pass Reggae's just a bit and you'll see a little hut-style place right on the water that says "25 Hour Bar - Welcome to Miami". Stop the car!! Relax in an ocean side hammock and enjoy a Coco-Loco coconut beverage or the absolute BEST mojito of your life!!! (Trust me on this, I searched the island upside down for the best mojito, this place takes the cake!!) I only wish we would have went earlier in the week to have made several trips back for more!! Back to the condo, Ellen was very nice to work with and her place is exactly what you need and want in a romantic getaway with your significant other! Oh, and those sheets!! Ellen isn't kidding when she said that Cariloha Bamboo sheets are the best sheets on Earth. We loved them so much, we went to Cariloha downtown and purchased a set for us to take home! WELL WORTH THE PRICE!! We intend to travel the world to many other continents and countries, but if we ever find ourselves on the beautiful island of Cozumel again, Ellen's condo at Residencias Reef is where we will be staying for sure.

1st Anniversary

My wife and I stayed in this condo for our first anniversary and it was perfect. The condo was a little bigger than we expected. The security, pools, and facility as a whole was great. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely paradise just steps to the sand from your private patio. Comfortable bed & ice cold A/C with all the amenities. Casita del Mar is by far the best value true ground level beachfront unit available on the entire island.

We greatly enjoyed our week on the beach. The place was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It has a beautiful view of the beach and palm trees. Ellen is an attentive owner who set up our COVID test for us and answered our questions before we left.

THE location - literally on the beach, slide open the glass door and the beach is a few feet away, there is lounging beach beds, sand, snorkeling area (bring your own gear for snorkeling ) The Amenities are great if you want to cook at home, wash your clothes, stay a while, there is a safe for passports etc, THERE IS PURIFIED WATER!!!!, coffee maker, we didn't bring correct sunscreen (safe for snorkeling) There are pools and the place is well kept and beautiful. The place is super safe, there are people at the gate, also patrolling around the beach, and its a super safe beach anyway. The beach is so nice, you can walk for a while on it( we walked to ALberto's restaurant, which is open late and a loud party place) There are signs everywhere saying that certain areas are not accessible, but beach is open to walk on. There are a few beach clubs walking distance from condo, which offer bars and food, but i think they might require a day pass fee. the beach in front of condo is really nice, no club needed The town is 20 minute car or scooter ride into town, many good restaurants, we didn't get sick at all, I recommend Kondesa (and all restaurants from that restaurant group) The super markets are also 20 min in town. the condo has reusable bags to shop with!! Mexico has a culture of haggling, so always be ware of up pricing and over selling, respect and empathy goes a long way tho!

Mother/Daughter Getaway

Everything about Casita Del Mar was perfect!! The bed was comfortable, the location on the property could not have been any better. The owner was right next door and was extremely helpful in securing our Covid antigen test for us to get back into the United States. I was worried about where to go and which test to have and how much it would cost, but Ellen had all the answers and went over and above to help my mom and I. The beach and pools are immaculate. The maid and grounds employees are super friendly. This is an efficiency condo, but it had everything you would need: purified water, hot plate, blender, microwave, nice size fridge, all kitchen supplies, shower soap and shampoo, plenty of beach towels and bathroom towels, but the very best is the view and just a few steps to the beach! Bring water shoes if you like to wade out. The island is a national park and the coral rocks cannot be removed from the water, so water shoes will save your feet until you get out to the sandy part.. This condo will not disappoint!

Perfect!

If you don’t like the all-inclusive scene and love quaint and private getaways that still have all the accoutrements you need, than this place is perfect for you! In my opinion, Residencias Reef is the best place to stay and Ellen’s units were the best location there. It is lower level so you can walk right out from your patio on to the beach, just steps from the water. There was some snorkeling right there but it’s worth getting a tax or, better yet, hiring a private charter to pick you up right at the pier and take you to the best spots (we used Chi chi Charters and they were excellent). We rented a car but really didn’t need it, especially if you just like to lay low, relax and avoid the cruise ship crowds that swarm the tourist trap shops the line the Main Street and Plaza. A taxi to the Mega super market for some basic goods to cook breakfast and have snacks would have sufficed. You can walk to several beach bars or get another taxi to town for dinners, etc. We did drive around the island so it was nice to have the car for that but, again, taxis are everywhere so you could easily do that, too. La Cocay and Kinta were our favorite restaurants for dinner, both were just under $100 US dollars for two people. Lots of other much less expensive options but these were our top picks. Have fun and safe travels!

Cozumel Paradise

This is the best condo at Residencias Reef. Ellen has decorated this unit very tastefully, and its beautiful. The huge covered deck is amazing, almost as large as the unit itself. Its perfect for entertaining with a large table, comfortable couch and chairs and BBQ. And its right on the beach! Everything you need is here. We had a wonderful and perfect vacation thanks to Ellen and our house keeper Veronica!

Amazing Beachfront Location

This location was perfect for my husband and I, we stayed 5 days and loved the room and it’s loc. The beach is only a few steps away, close to the pool, very clean location. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful location, everything you need

We spent 6 nights at this property in Cozumel. It was just a perfect for us. Just walk out the door to the beach. There are pools too, if we wanted to do that. And just next door a dock where all the dive boats and snorkeling boats can come pick you up. So easy! The actual property has everything you need, fresh water, hot plates, a coffee maker and fridge.. we couldn't have been happier. We made breakfast everyday, and a few lunches and snacks. Mostly went out to dinner. We will definitely want to come back!

We are farmers in Northern Colorado. We love to travel and on our first trip to Mexico, we fell in love with the people, the land and chose to return and visit whenever possible.

Why they chose this property

On our first trip to Cozumel we fell in love with the Island, the people, and the sunsets over the Caribbean. We knew this is where we wanted to buy. We were privileged to be able to purchase our first condo in 2007 right ON the best beach in Cozumel. In Jan. of 2011 we were able to purchase this very special condo right next door to our first condo. What a privilege to take care of this spectacular property!

What makes this property unique

The greatest benefit is the totally relaxing feeling you get when you are in this condo. You feel like you are in a private house on the beach. When you look out the huge wall of glass, all you see is palm trees, sand, and incredible blue Caribbean water! Being able to walk off the patio and sink you toes into the warm sand is fantastic. Just a short walk and you are at 2 pools or the private pier. Walk for miles on the beach, enjoy a massage, or have a drink or snack at one of the beach clubs. The sunsets are magnificent. No other words but--Paradise, Paradise, Paradise!
