The first thing I noticed walking in the unit was a Smoke detector dangling from the ceiling by its wiring instead of properly attached. There was NOT a carbon monoxide detector as stated in the listing. Overall, I'd award a 3-star rating. It's not a dump by any means, but there's plenty of room for improvement w/o having to invest additional capital. It was clean, but not well kept and organized...Cords draped all over the place for the lamps, Wi-Fi router, TV, etc. Missing amenities:-No bathtub as listed -Not 1.5 baths as listed (honestly it was more like 0.75 bath)-No toaster as listed. (Lots of other kitchen essentials though)-No lake view (conveniently located on US-10 though)-Living room TV was stuck in "Demo Mode" and would not work properly. -Exterior lighting was not working.-No lighted road signage. (Quite challenging to find the property if returning after dark) All the other motels and BnB's in the neighborhood had well lit grounds/signage.
