You'll love the amenities of the home, delivered by a host who is passionate about providing comfort, cleanliness, value, and thoughtful little extras. This is my family’s home-away-from-home too. As such, I’ve outfitted this cozy, yet spacious cabin with premium bed linens, extra pillows and blankets; plenty of towels, including cozy bath sheet size towels; and a well-stocked kitchen - everything needed to easily prepare meals inside and out!
Arrive to the freshness of crisp mountain air, and enjoy the privacy and shade provided by the towering pine and aspen trees scattered around this ideal mountain retreat.
This beautiful, new, 1,500-square-foot cabin greets you with a cedar-like exterior, and a generous, covered front porch. As you enter, discover an open living space with a 2-story great room, tongue-and-groove wood ceilings, and a large kitchen and dining area.
Relax in the cozy and inviting family room centered around a propane fireplace and Smart TV. The rustic, moose-themed decor, open floor plan and propane fireplace provide a cozy, warm ambience, creating a perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure.
Gather and prepare meals in a spacious and generously-equipped kitchen. Enjoy coffee/cream, tea, a large spice/seasoning selection and everything needed to easily create meals on-site. Dine and sip beverages at the kitchen island barstools. Share meals and play games at the dining table, or at the outdoor picnic table. Don't forget to freeze some ice packs to throw into a cooler for tomorrow's adventures. We provide both on-site, as a convenience...along with loaner bear spray, portable camp chairs, fishing gear, first aid, and little extras, in case you forget something.
When it’s time to settle in for the night, you’ll find space for everyone in your group! On the main floor you'll find a master with a king bed, and a second bedroom with a queen. Discover the spacious sleeping loft (accessed by stairs not a ladder) where kids, and adults alike, will enjoy 3 queen beds and a full, en-suite bathroom. Find privacy and quiet in the loft by closing it off from the family room with the large, custom barn doors. All bedrooms are fashioned with comfortable mattresses, premium linens and pillows, room-darkening curtains, Smart TVs, ceiling and box fans, chargers at nightstands, and extra pillows (of varying types/comfort levels) and blankets. All combine to ensure a good nights sleep.
You'll love having 2-full and 1-half baths so you're not fighting for shower or potty time. Red Moose Lodge features 1 full and 1/2 bath on the main floor and another full bath in the loft. Bathrooms are equipped with premium bath sheet-size towels, hand towels, make-up washcloths, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryers, etc. And, Red Moose Lodge offers two, 50-gallon, tandem-feed hot water heaters to guarantee a warm shower for everyone! A laundry room is also available on the main floor and is stocked with detergent and fabric sheets for your use.
Immerse yourself in nature with the outdoor spaces and amenities available for your use. Enjoy a peaceful morning cup of coffee, chat with friends and family or prepare meals on the propane grill under a covered porch. Warm up on a cool mountain night around the fire pit, while you roast marshmallows or cook meals over the open flames (marshmallow roasting/hotdog sticks, plenty of seating for everyone and FREE firewood are provided on site). You might get lucky and enjoy a visit from the squirrels, fox, song birds, deer, elk or moose, who call our neighborhood home.
Surround yourself with beautiful scenery; abundant and varied wildlife; world-class fishing; hundreds of miles of ATV; beautiful rivers and lakes for water activities such as swimming, canoeing, boating, floating, and fishing; and convenient access to Yellowstone, a scenic 30-minute drive away.
Have questions or want expert local trip planning advice? I've created an extremely thorough welcome book, which I share with you digitally. The guide includes everything Island Park and the surrounding area has to offer: food; adventure and local must-sees; hiking; ATV riding, rentals and trails; fishing access points; National Park maps, information and links; even tips on where to find and see moose! Everything can be quickly and easily accessed once the app is downloaded to your phone, even if you don't have cell service. And, the app is available in over 100 languages!

About the host
Hosted by Cammi

I love Island Park and all that it has to offer. I've vacationed here with my family for years and have dreamed about owning our own cabin here. Finally making it a reality upon completion of this cabin in spring of 2023, we're so excited to spend time there and share it with other visiting the beautiful area.
Because our family spends a significant amount of time here, I can provide a wealth of information for you during your stay...a personal, local guide. I’ve spent countless hours creating a welcome book, which you can add to your phone as an app, that includes local dining, shopping, adventure, trail, and area must-see’s. If you can’t find something you’re looking for, reach out, I'm always happy to help, if I can.
I'm so excited to be able to share our cabin and Island Park with you. It truly is an incredible place to visit and connect with nature.
