The perfect mix of wildlife, beach proximity and a serene, safe area. The apartment is large and opens right to the beautiful pool. This gated building has WiFi, AC, pool, anything to make your stay most enjoyable! Only 5 minutes to the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, Carrillo Beach, and 15 minutes from Samara.

Such an amazing place! Xinia and Carlos being there often was so great. They really do a lot to keep everything running smoothly and always helpful when I needed something. Sara is an amazing host and the whole process to check in was very easy. One thing for people just coming to this area, make sure you have supplies as the stores aren’t really walkable, or have some taxis lined up prior. Samara taxi service is the name to look up. It’s a beautiful place!

The room was very spacious and spotless. The pool was cleaned and Jennifer was responding to our txt messages within a minute. Very convenient location to Carrillo Beach and private property located up on the hill.Higly recommend,you cannot get someone better for your money. I will return and book again.

Beautiful holiday weekend!

Such a cute property!

This was a wonderful location and the on-site host Sarah is amazing! The apartments are huge and the pool is very clean. The pool is half shaded, so you can get sun or if it's raining you have shelter. I would stay here again and will tell my friends about it!

Just perfect in every way

I had a wonderful stay! The pool was sparkling clean and so refreshing, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Bailey is a great host—super responsive and attentive, making sure everything was just right. If you're visiting Samara or Puerto Carrillo, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommend!

Terrapin Station

rating this property of three because our group found that there were some basic things missing, add some extremely intrusive, lighting outside the bedroom windows, which made sleeping extremely difficult. The space itself was perfectly clean and the pool is delightful, and we were able to use a wash washer and dryer. The owner has been made aware of our issues and my hope is that they get addressed. The hostess communicative and the location was great for us.!! Pura Vida!!

Large apartment in a quiet area near Samara

Overall, my partner and I were pleased with our stay. The location is located about 6 minutes driving distance from Playa Carillo, and about 15 minutes driving distance from Playa Samara (about double what is stated on the listing), so a car is highly recommended as the area is not particularly walkable with narrow/no road shoulders. The building is nestled amongst the trees, and we were visited by a coati, cats, ample different bird species, and could hear the roar of howler monkeys during our stay. The pool was great for cooling off, and the other units were empty meaning that we had the whole thing to ourselves. The sheets were soft, and the mattresses very comfortable. Of note, the locks were broken on several of the large windows - although the property itself is gated, this still would have still been a concern if other units were occupied. Also, only one of the showers had hot water. Overall, the place was clean and very spacious, the pool and washing machine were nice amenities, and although a bit out of the way, we would stay again. The host Bailey was very responsive.

Super!

L’hébergement compte 5 logements. L’emplacement, la zone extérieure, la piscine, les chaises longues, les hamacs, le confort des lits ont rendu ce séjour formidable. Par contre, la propreté des salles de bains et de tous les accessoires de cuisine laissaient grandement à désirer. Nous avons tout lavé avant l’utilisation. De plus, il serait intéressant d’avoir des mitaines pour le four. À noter que la deuxième douche n’a pas d’eau chaude et cela n’est pas indiqué dans l’annonce. Nous devons demander à chaque fois pour l’utilisation des laveuse/sécheuse qui se trouvent à l’extérieur. Pour un séjour de 10 jours, nous avons été surpris de ne pas pouvoir changer nos serviettes. La dame de l’entretien a barré l’accès de l’armoire à serviettes situé à l’extérieur. Les barrures ne se ferment pas bien, ni les barrières.
