Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please bring all recycles down to the recycle bins. Place recycles in the bin loosely. Throw trash in the trash bin.
Please leave the 6 beach badges on the kitchen table. if any are missing, it is $100 charge.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoking in the home will be a $500 fine. Beach Badges lost are $100 each. These will be claimed from the damage protection.
Tenants agree to maintain the rental in good order and to surrender it in the same condition as received and as reasonable wear and tear permit.
Tenants agree to abide by the Borough's local laws and ordinances regarding noise/disturbing the peace, trash, recycling and underage drinking

This was a fantastic property: new and exactly as described. Ortley beach was calm, quiet and very clean. The entire family had a great time and Jim was a fantastic host and extremely responsive to any questions we had at all. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to be on the Jersey Shore.

What a great stay!!

I want to start by saying this house was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!! The house was super clean. I love that we were literally steps to the beach. It’s less than a 30 second walk to the beach. The house has everything we needed. The neighborhood was clean. Just spot on for what we needed this weekend. James was nice and helpful through the whole process. I can’t wait to come back and visit!

Summer kick off beach vacation with family

We kicked off our summer with a great stay with our family - grandparent, married couple, 2 adult children and family friend. The house is beautifully decorated and was spacious enough for us all - perfect mix of bedrooms and bathrooms for us. The kitchen was spacious enough for us all to cook since we ate in every night. Plenty of pantry space for food and one person in our group worked from home one day, so we loved the office space for her. We particularly loved the front covered deck/porch and ate many meals out there. It was only one block walk to the beach where there were also parking spaces. Beach passes that were included were key. We walked to the Seaside Heights boardwalk one night, too. We would definitely stay here again.
