The apartment was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and a delightful patio with a wonderful sea view. It was a 20-30 minute walk into Korcula town.
I made two separate bookings for this property, this being the first and the second from the 11th to the 15th. I loved staying here, and my hosts were the best of the best. I felt especially fortunate because I had a chest infection that got progressively worse during my stay, and Robert was instrumental is me obtaining the care and treatment I needed to get me on the mend. Both Robert and Domagoj were warm, friendly, and hospitable beyond measure. This is especially nice on an extended stay like mine was. They were available to answer any questions that arose and responded quickly from my first enquiry about the property in January, to my departure on April 15th.While there isn't a washer in the apartment, they are happy to provide laundry services in their unit. I just put my clothes out, they picked them up, and they came back clean and spun dry, after which I dried them outside on the drying rack. Almost everything dried within a day, even in the cool April weather. The apartment itself was quiet, spotless, and is obviously loved and cared for. The view is breathtaking and the walk to town, which took me about 18-20 minutes, is not terribly strenuous. There is a shortcut one can take that consists of 100 rather steep stairs down a hill, but I am 70, and it was manageable. I actually enjoyed it and went into town several times. Without the shortcut, I would say the walk is about 25-30 minutes. And the walk is spectacularly beautiful.
This property was beautiful! If you are older it was a bit of a long walk uphill with luggage from the port to get to the property but taxis were available and that is what we used. This rental had suck old world charm and THE.BEST.VIEW! Domagoj was so helpful and even did our laundry at no cost since there is not a washer in the unit. It was perfect for the two of us!
Damagoj is an excellent host! His communication with us was smooth through the whole process. He even picked us up from the ferry and arrange for our transportation to the ferry when we left. He alsochecked in on us to make sure everything was going well
I had to book this flat twice, because of my error. Damagoj was gracious and helpful. He is also very engaging as a host and communicates quite well. The actual flat is clean nicely decorated and has a wonderful view toward the Old Town. I would highly recommend. The walk into Old Town really was fairly easy.
We LOVED this apartment! Probably my best VRBO stay ever! The apartment was just as advertised — and better. It had old world charm and the breeze off the Adriatic was awesome. The host was in constant communication to make sure everything was perfect — and the place was spotless when we arrived. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from the host’s brother on the balcony after eating in town. The views of the town and the sea were priceless. The location was PERFECT! We walked into town (about 20 minutes) and walked back without any issues. My only regret is that we only spent one night here! Next time we are in Croatia we are definitely coming back here.
I was lucky enough to stay here for two weeks. The view is spectacular, and the hosts were amazing. I was warmly welcomed and truly felt like it was a home away from home. Though the Old Town was a bit further away than I would have liked, the 20-minute walk was breathtakingly beautiful. Each time I went, the sea and sky were different. I had breakfast out on the terrace many times, even though it was a bit cool, where I enjoyed the sights and sounds of the neighborhood. The Old Town was very quiet during my stay from 2 April to the 15th, with very few shops or restaurants open. It seems things were really set to open the day I left. But I really enjoyed the peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of Rome and prefer solitude to crowds. You won't find kinder or more helpful hosts than Robert and Domagoj. And you won't find a more beautiful place in all of Korcula, of that I am certain.
