Living three hours south in Killeen, I stay busy supporting my husband’s moving business, but hosting lets me share hospitality on a new level.
Why they chose this property
My husband and I first met just a few miles north at Christ for the Nations, and this house became our family home when our children were small. We used to drive by and watch it being built, dreaming about the memories we’d make here. Across the street sits an open field owned by the school district for decades—quiet, untouched, and a reminder of simpler times. What we’ve always loved most about this neighborhood is the balance: peaceful surroundings, yet with easy access to I-20 and I-35 so you can quickly get to downtown Dallas, attractions, and family gatherings.
What makes this property unique
This isn’t a throw-together rental—we spent over a year on renovations, adding custom touches you won’t find in standard homes. My husband’s eye for detail shows in everything from upgraded finishes to creative design elements. Families especially love the game room, complete with activities for all ages, and the relaxing massage chair set against a hand-painted mural. Perched at the top of a hill, the home enjoys a natural breeze while security windows and doors give peace of mind. It’s a place built for both comfort and connection.
