Beautiful and very comfortable guest house! The location was perfect for anyone visiting Bloomington or looking to be near Nashville. The accommodations are just as described and as shown in photos. The hosts are very responsive and provided some wonderful little extras, like locally made soaps and tasty baked goods. We hope to return on our next trip to the area!
This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Right in between Nashville, IN and Bloomington (closer to Btown), and that worked beautifully for our last minute trip. Melissa and Mark were very communicative and they even provided a sweet surprise for our trip Everything was honestly perfect - from the beautiful shower, to the decorations and all of the amenities (the goat milk soap was divine!). We highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Excellent place to stay. Hosts met us when we arrived. Everything we needed for a two-night stay was there. Enjoyed the location and privacy the vrbo gave us.
Would stay again if in the area.
What a beautiful place with an amazing view. Our hosts were so great and the place is immaculate, quiet with beautiful surroundings. Would love to come back!
This was th perfect location, right between Bloomington and Nashville Indiana. Our host greeted us as soon as we pulled up. The place looks exactly like it's pictured on the website, really beautiful! We really enjoyed the lazy mornings drinking our coffee out watching the beautiful scenery! They even had heart cookies waiting for us for our Anniversary. We will definitely be back!
Cute cottage with comfy beds and a well stocked coffee station. The hostess left birthday and anniversary cookies for us, as we were celebrating both! The natural surroundings were incredible!
The space was welcoming and clean. Our host was very responsive and she left us homemade muffins for our morning treat. The outdoor space is relaxing and beautiful, perfect for morning coffee, or reading. Conveniently located.
We were in Bloomington for our son’s graduation and had booked the cottage almost a year ahead of time. It is a lovely, well designed and beautifully appointed space but somewhat out of the way if you’re attending IU events. We also needed to call an uber a couple of times and they got lost each time. Melissa was a wonderful hostess and the whole property has been very thoughtfully designed and decorated.
Melissa was super responsive and friendly. She was considerate and had thought of all contingencies given we were visiting when hurricane Helene was passing this area. The property is located in beautiful woods and the cottage was stocked with everything we would need and more. Too bad we couldn’t enjoy the s’mores and firepit due to the rains but had a wonderful stay. Thanks Melissa!
We had a great stay at this guest house just a short and easy drive outside of Bloomington. Very quiet location on a country road east on State Road 46. The guest house with 2 rooms and a full size bathroom (standup shower) was plenty of space for 2 of us as we visited our student at IU. We unfortunately did not have much time to spend in the space or using the outdoor area, as we spent most of the weekend in Bloomington, but I would recommend to anyone looking for either a close-by (non-hotel) space for the same purpose, or to just get away and have some peaceful time to yourself. Great owners who went out of their way to make sure you were welcome and everything you needed was at hand. Highly recommend.
It was exactly what my friends and I needed, a beautiful place to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping.
The beds were comfortable, the decor adorable, the outdoor seating quaint and so relaxing with an amazing view and you really couldn’t ask for better hosts.
Everything you could possibly need was supplied. We were surprised by custom cookies that were delicious! And woke up to the most delicious and moist muffins!! I’m really hoping to get that recipe haha!!
Thank you for being such a wonderful host! We loved it and my friends keep thanking me for finding your place.
