So close to so much

The building from the outside is a bit intimidating but inside it was super well maintained and Alex was a great host. And although the particular street has a very Bucharest-rundown look to it, is surrounded by cool stuff. Also because it is right behind one of the big hotels (the Hilton I think) there is taxi stand a block from the apartment. It is also a couple blocks from the Metro. And a 12 minute walk from the Old Town area.

Great location, and a well-appointed apartment

The apartment was clean, roomy, and right in the center of town--minutes away from a supermarket and a taxi station. The AC and wifi both worked well, though when we arrived the remote for the AC units was missing (the manager was very responsive, though, and that was taken care of the next morning). The manager might consider adding a list of suggestions for coffee shops/restaurants in the area, and maybe instructions for the washing machine (the settings were not obvious). All in all, though, we were very pleased and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Bucharest

The apartment was lovely and comfortable. It was clean beyond compare. It was in the center city with shopping within walking distance. You could purchase fresh fruits and vegetables right outside of the front door. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed. The shower was fabulous. The only complaint I had was that there was only half a roll of toilet paper for two women. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I ever returned to Bucharest.
