Very spacious and comfortable in a beautiful area. Good selection of wares to cook with. Appliances all work fine and plenty of lighting throughout the house. The farm house is surrounded by a fence creating a perfect yard for pups. Host communication was great. Less than 15 minute drive into Salem.
We and to our delight found a great farmhouse thats been updated. Excellent communication with the owners! Clean, ready to go! Great beds, kitchen and bathrooms

I've taken a couple of weeks to cool off before writing this review. First, the house itself and grounds are nice/fine, but I have nothing else positive to say. The house was INFESTED with ladybugs and flies, and when I notified the owner during our stay it was clear that they knew about this, and offered to come over and sweep. NOT OK. I subsequently mentioned that we were low on paper products (two rolls of installed toilet paper, and one bonus roll were provided. And one roll of paper towels) and was told that they provided those only, and I replied "fine I'll make do", but was mystified that they wouldn't just drop off a couple of rolls. Also, the stairs to the 2nd floor have no railing and are a wildly out of code fall risk and death trap, all smooth wood, no railings, and no carpet or runners. Crazy. FINALLY, on the final day of the trip I noticed a small infected cut on my shoulder, which I've since been hospitalized for and had to have surgery and IV antibiotics for a serious MRSA infected cellulitis and abscess, while I'm not certain that the infection was contracted at this VRBO rental, I suspect that given the insect infestations and other signs cavalier ownership that I was exposed to poorly cleaned surfaces and this infection was a result. For a rental at this price point and high past reviews, all of this was shocking.
