We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The evenings on the deck and the morning walks along the lake were memorable. We will definitely be back.
This house was perfect for us. We stayed for a week and wanted to be secluded and wanted a place where several kids of all ages could run and play outside. The size was perfect. The beds were perfect. The outside area and pond were perfect. Absolutely would stay again.
Good place for us to relax in the evenings. We were in West Point to help Niece with packing. Planning on another trip to help with the moving of my niece.

This is the second time our family has stayed at the Eagles Nest. It is great home on an amazing property. Matt is an excellent host. The sand around the house is great for the kids, but bring shoes as there are sand burrs on the property. The lake water is good for swimming. There is just one refrigerator, so bring coolers if you have a large group for an extended stay. Would highly recommend a stay at the Eagles Nest.
The house is set up perfectly for a large group. Two different living rooms connected by the kitchen/dining room was perfect for our needs. We loved the fishing and wildlife watching from the huge deck! Would love to stay again!
Lots of space to spread out, relax, play games, cook, and came very well stocked with supplies and even some groceries! Much appreciated as we had multiple families getting together for the first time in a long time.
We came to NE for a family funeral and needed a place for my parents, my family, and my sister’s family to stay. Found this spot and am SO glad we did. It was an excellent stay with everything we needed, space to move around and not feel like we were on top of each other. The deck was great to BBQ and hang out. Everyone had a good time and was sad to leave.
Beautiful, spacious and clean, we used this as home base for family visiting from out of the country for a wedding reception.
They loved the opportunity to gather with friends and family they hadn't seen in quite a while, without having to navigate hotel settings. I hope we get the opportunity to use it again.
What a wonderful spot! The house was perfect, beds and bedding were very comfortable. House had everything you need down to a mushroom hunting guide! The nature is unending. Wish I could keep it a secret so it’s easier to rent in the future, but the hosts were just too nice! Thank you!

Thank you for staying with us. We hope you come back again.
Our family had a great stay at this West Point NE gem. The place is quite secluded and sits on a large property. The house was very clean and easily accommodated our family. Matt was great to work with. The primary lake for swimming had a fair amount of algae in it, so we moved over to the Elkhorn river and that turned about to be a huge hit for our grandkids. We also did a little fishing in the river and caught nice catfish. The town of West Point has a fantastic swimming pool. We spent one afternoon at the pool which was enjoyed by all. The huge deck on this house was great for our evening socials. Would highly recommend this place if you just need to get away from the grind and hangout. It was very relaxing.
