The house was not cleaned and seemed very stale. Almost a month after checking out I received a report of damage to a paneling wall, and a doll. The host was accommodating on late checkout and was very nice otherwise.

Thank you for your feedback. We take cleanliness and guest experience very seriously and use a professional cleaner after each stay. Due to the holidays, cleaning occurred shortly after checkout rather than immediately, at which time damage to the home and furnishings was identified that had not been present prior to the stay. This was documented and addressed through the booking platform in accordance with their policies. We were happy to accommodate a late checkout and always strive to be responsive and fair with our guests. Our home contains original vintage items, which are noted in the listing and house rules, and we ask all guests to treat them with care. We appreciate future guests helping us preserve the character of the home.

All was groovy! Theme was interesting and fun .Older/ vintage tvs were cool but sucked trying to watch a game ( glad we brought a cheap walmart tv ) Kitchen was a huge plus for quick meals & snacks .Basement was awsome! However, the cool vintage red carpet looked like it needed cleaned, as well as other areas which looked like maybe it had been a while since last rented/cleaned?With that being said, my friends and I would recommend and revisit.

Amazing property. Incredible retro decor. And an awesome story behind it. Pros: Close to Deer Creek music center, comfortably accommodated 5 adults and a 4 month old, skeeball and Pac-Man in the basement along with awesome disco lights, comfortable beds, all the amenities you need. Cons: honestly the only one I can think of is that there were pieces missing on the Lincoln Log set.
