Tofino Dream Cottage is a stunning example of contemporary West Coast architecture. This timber-framed, bright spacious home is located in the midst of its own half-acre professionally landscaped gardens. It is private, yet only a 3 minute walk down a sandy path is spectacular Chesterman Beach. Surfing, beachcombing and close proximity to surf rentals, an array of neighbourhood shops restaurants, cafes, and the village of Tofino. Here is accommodation that offers it all. Tofino Dream Cottage will be enjoyed by everyone: It is a wonderful place for couples seeking a romantic retreat. It is a superb place for a group getaway. It is a perfect family home for adults and children.

We built this beautiful westcoast vacation home by the sea for family, friends and the many visiting guests who come to celebrate this spectacular location. The cottage harmonizes a nice flow between outdoor and indoor living spaces. The outdoor hot tub and expansive multi-level decks surround the home and reach out to the forest edge. Manicured gardens, total privacy, dramatic forest landscape and the beach nearby, make Dream Cottage the perfect getaway retreat..

Three Bedrooms and Two Baths
* Two spacious bedrooms on the main floor: one with a queen bed, one with twin beds
* Master bedroom has skylights for star-gazing and french doors leading to deck and hot tub
* One large bedroom upstairs on the second floor with a queen bed
* Two full bathrooms: one on the main floor and one ensuite bathroom upstairs
* Main floor bathroom has a large two person private vertical spa shower and heated slate floors
* Main floor bathroom is surrounded by skylights and looks onto landscaped gardens
* Loft ensuite has a soaker tub and forest views; surrounded with skylights and limestone floors
* All bedrooms have quality bed linens and both baths have thick bath towels

Stunning home! The beds were so comfy and even though we lost power for 5 hours our first nite, we listened to the storm thru the sky lights. The kitchen has everything you need too. The only thing we wished for was a flashlight, but there were lots of tealights. After long walks on the local beaches it was grest to relax in the hot tub.Would definitely return here!

The Dream Cottage really was a dream! Very short walk to Chesterman beach (the listing said 14min walk but it’s less than 5), 10-15min walk to a few shops/restaurants/coffee shop, hot-tub with large deck space and outdoor shower, and location in a cul-de-sac were some highlights (especially with kids). We’ve stayed in many places in Tofino over the years and this is our favourite! We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

Fabulous holiday in Tofino based out of the Dream cottage

We had an excellent vacation in Tofino and the Dream cottage was a fabulous place to stay. We found everything we needed, from a well equipped kitchen to beach towels. The walk to Chesterman's beach was just a short jaunt down a lovely gravel path. The outdoor shower is very convenient after coming back from the beach. The home has beautiful gardens and feels very private. We enjoyed the lovely stain glass windows and all the light from picture windows and skylights. If you are sensitive to early morning light, you might want to bring a sleep mask.We highly recommend this as a fabulous place to stay in Tofino.

After a long drive into tofino it was nice to come ‘home’. The accommodations were charming and comfortable, clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend this place to friends .

Absolutely stunning home in a beautiful garden setting, perfect for exploring nearby west coast beaches and beautiful old growth forests. Upscale, but with a cozy, cottage feel. We will do our best to make it back some day!

Beautiful house

An absolutely beautiful home on the best beach in the area. A quick 10 min walk to the beach (down a sweet pebble path) or 5 min drive into town. We love this place and highly recommend it! The hot tub and fully landscaped porch were so relaxing and well cared for. The fireplace and high ceilings just add to this house’s charm. We loved it in the sun and in the rain. The perfect family beach house.

Tofino Getaway

Nice cottage, great layout for group. Beds were comfortable. We had a group of 3 couples and enjoyed going for bike rides around the area and into town despite the snow (the bike path was mostly clear from our location into town). We enjoyed a hottub after outdoor activity and playing games in the evenings. Thank you for our enjoyable getaway.

The best birthday weekend!

My two kids and their partners stayed at Dream Cottage with my husband and I for 3 days to celebrate my 60th. It was magical. The cottage is tucked away in a beautifully landscaped, private yard full of mature rhodos that were in full bloom at the time of our visit. Our weather was sunny and we were able to rent surf gear easily at live to surf, a 1 min drive away, and spend the day surfing at North Chesterman Beach, a short walk away. We also rented bikes at Tofino bikes (again 1 min drive away) and bike down the paved trail to Ucluelet. It was great to come back to the house for a hot tub and dinner and then head to beach for sunset and spikeball. The house was comfortable for our group and the linens felt fresh (always an important feature in a home rental for me). Also the host did not litter the house with too many instructional signs (which can rob a vacation rental of warmth). We loved the memories we made here!

Relaxing 4 night stay

Warm and welcoming. Exactly as portrayed in the photos; clean, and well-equipped. Very comfortable place for the 5 of us, and a sixth person would've been an easy fit. The hot tub was lovely, even more so in the pouring rain. Beds were comfortable, with enough bedding, and extra blankets and wraps were provided for napping on the couch etc. The walk through the woods to the beach was delightful and took only a couple of minutes. Highly recommended!

Tofino Magic

Two couples (best friends) from Cleveland Ohio and Kawartha Lakes, Ontario enjoyed two days and nights at this beautiful property. Everything was as described, including accessibility for one in our party who has a disability. We enjoyed Chesterman Beach, Kapyong Memorial at Radar Hill, a walk through Tofino (one of our party was here 50 years ago as a teenager-alot has changed!) two great restaurants (Shelter and The Wolf in the Fog) and the peace and quiet of the property. The home was very well equipped. We had very little garbage-compostable, but didn't put out on the day, as our system at home asks you to wait until more in the bin.(hope this wasn't a mistake on our part) We found the lock box a little difficult and not easy to operate, but once we got the hang of it, it was ok Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. The grounds are beautiful Will certainly recommend to anyone we know travelling to Tofino. Many thanks Sandy Schell Kennedy
