Great layout, location (on the beach not across the street like many FLL properties.) excellent service and my kids loved the pool and lazy river! Room was well appointed and comfortable. Great view and light.
Staff for the most part was excellent. The room was very clean although some of the furniture could use a refresher. Overall though, I loved my stay! Beach staff was excellent also.
Everything was amazing from the minute we pulled up to the resort until the day we checked up. The restaurant was wonderful and delicious and the Coconut Gelato was to die for (if you live coconut). I will definitely come back and stay here.
Everything was great except it wasn't listed anywhere that the lazy river was down. One of the reasons we booked this place. But beach and pool area were amazing. Staff always greeted you anytime they saw you.
Had a relaxing and wonderful stay in February. Location on the beach was beautiful as well as a very walkable location. Restaurants close by so need to rent a vehicle and a short cab ride to Las Olas with plenty of bars and restaurants. Restaurants, bar and u e cream bar were very much enjoyed! Definitely would stay again.
Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The room is amazing, the staff (and I mean everyone we encountered) is amazing and there’s nothing like being oceanfront.
The condo was perfectly situated on the beach; the pool was heated; the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming; perfect place for a family vacation. The owner was quick to reply to all of my messages.
Love the property! Everything available within the property...in room dining, restaurant with great service and food was delicious. Attendants were fantastic around the pool and beach! Comfortable beds and TV's in both areas. Love our stay and will definitely come back! Highly recommended! The only thing missing was a microwave, it will avoid getting rid of the leftovers...restaurant offer large portions
Great location and beautiful place. The room is very spacious and the additional living room is an added bonus. Would have been nice if there was a microwave but there is a fridge, sink and coffee maker in the room. Only negative I would say is your only parking option is valet and it is 55 per day plus tip. Publix is about a mile down the road which is nice. It is quieter here away from the Ft Lauderdale beach noise.
Yes, everything went as expected with the rental. The resort room looked just like the photos . Loved, loved the beach front balcony, and having the private beach . All the staff were welcoming, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible . Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. If you asked me for possible improvements, I would suggest a new mattress for the bed closest to the sectional wall, a grab bar in the wonderful shower, and new blinds for the sectional wall. Thank you for making this room available, Several family members who also rented rooms said they would stay here again. Thanks also for making the whole process easy to navigate and affordable. Linda
We enjoyed the amazing views and sounds of the ocean every morning and every evening on the deck. The accommodations were lovely with plenty of space in the bedroom and living room areas. The resort is wonderful with beachfront lounging, a pool, lazy river, and friendly, helpful staff. We relaxed with drinks on the beach and ate delicious food in the lounge, restaurant, and other nearby options. The resort is quiet and walking accessible to shops and food. This was our second time visiting, and we would love to return soon.
The Pelican Grand is one of the best resorts in the Fort Lauderdale area you can ask to stay at. The facilities are above all other options on the market. This room is absolutely gorgeous and waking up to the sunrise on the balcony is the way life should be. The beach is beautiful, where there are generous men to assist with chairs and umbrellas. Mr. John, bartender on the beach, is one of the nicest people I have met in my travels. He values his customers and provides excellent service. John needs a huge shoutout and he deserves to be treated with respect on the beach. John is a great person. This resort does run on Vallet parking. Constantly tipping the attendants becomes redundant considering that you are paying a large fee per day to park your vehicle. However, one nice tip at the end of the stay seems sufficient. I would highly recommend staying at this resort as I intend to return myself.
Room was spacious and view was amazing. The room was nice but bathroom could of been cleaner. The shower didnt qork well at all..

Great Location
Some rooms at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort are owned by individuals and managed by the resort. Avoid these rooms and rent one specifically owned by the resort. You will receive better service.
Location and beach view were great but the entire resort property is in need of renovation, not terrible but old and worn. Room definitely could use a deep cleaning and freshen up. It would be nice to have a microwave added to the room. The parking fee of 55/night tax should be disclosed in the listing but was not so this was an unpleasant surprise. Any purchases in the resort (drinks, food, etc.) also tack on an additional 22% “hospitality fee”.
