We visited Gettysburg and stayed at this property which is about 30 minutes from the National Historical Park. After a long day of walking and touring the Battlefield it was nice to come back to this property and have a nice peaceful evening. The house is secluded and in a very quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay
We thoroughly enjoyed or stay in the cabin on Bear Mountain. It was cozy and neat, and very comfortable. Our host, David was very accommodating, and responsive. It made our stay even more enjoyable.
Pretty much as described, be sure to follow closely to the directions coming in! If not you are in for a fun memorable ride! All in all it was nice and peaceful.

Convenient to the AT and the battlefield. Competitively priced with nearby hotels but far superior in amenities. Responsive host. Will stay here again
Very nice cabin, Owner was very kind in giving us better directions than Google Maps. Fyi. Follow his directions, it is much easier than trying to get up that mountian following Google Maps.
If you are looking for peace, quiet, nature and solitude, this is it. We had our dogs with us and they loved the adventure. Our host was great--very attentive and helpful. We will be going back in the spring.
Great facility, clean and up to expectations. The 3 of us, my wife our dog and myself were impressed. The road is a bit rough and would hesitate navigating at night. Overall a great stay
Our stay was very relaxing. The house looks exactly as pictured- clean and well equipped. The host, David, is extremely responsive. The house is tucked away on the mountain side and our two dogs absolutely loved the private outdoor space. We saw lots of deer which was fun! We felt very at home and enjoyed our stay!
Still too early for color this year, but enjoyed our stay. Glad we had brought along our own throws for evenings. Robert was very quick to respond to all correspondence.
This cabin in the woods is exactly what our family was looking for. This was our second time back and will be returning. I love that it is literally at the top of a mountain. It was clean and Dave the host is incredibly quick to respond to any messages I have. The location is perfect. If you like a quiet, sit around a campfire with your friends and family kind of vacation, this place is perfect.
We loved the Little Bear Mountain cabin! We were able to check stuff from our list! Less than an hour to Hershey, and a short distance to Gettysburg, we were able to do both. We even took a suggestion from our host and cooled off at a State Forest lake close by. Neat and cozy, we enjoyed down time at the cabin. Our host was amazing with communication and made check in and our stay a breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Cozy cabin in the woods, very off the beaten path (SUV and GPS a must, in our opinion). Went for a long weekend, wanted a place that would be close to Gettysburg for hubby to visit battlefields and for me to sit back with my dogs and be "one" with nature while working on my writing. Both boxes checked. Cabin was clean, plenty of area for our dachshunds to run in the leaves. Enjoyed morning breakfast with the neighborhood herd of deer that came to visit each morning. Dave was very easy to communicate with as well as accommodating with a few requests we made. Would consider reserving again.
