Easy booking and communication

Communication was good and property, bedding and kitchen were clean but overall, the property felt a little run down.

Christmas visit in Dallas

This early 20th century house has been sufficiently updated in the kitchen and bathrooms to accommodate a short term stay, and the new/little used mattresses provided very good sleep. The rooms are large and are uncluttered by the unique collection of furniture pieces throughout the house. Management was always and remarkably available by text and phone, even on Christmas Day!

Bedding very clean/first walk in terrible odor of mildew bedrooms locks did not properly work got lock in twice had to wake other person to unlock door from other side all carpet /Rugs STINK HORRIBLE /FURNITURE TO SIT DOWN VERY VERY DIRTY and to TOP IT ALL TWICE A WORKER KNOCK ON THE DOOR STATING THAT OWNER GAVE ORDERS TO COME DO SOME TOUCH UP ON WALLS SINCE WE SAW THERE IS WORKING SUPPLIES WE DONT KNOW FOR SURE BUT WE DECLINED to let worker in PLEASE FIX YOUR PLACE BEFORE YOU RENT OUT AGAIN FOR THE PRICE WE PAY NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Disappointing

The kitchen was poorly supplied. No hand towels, one pack of coffee even though I was staying for 3 nights. The coffee pot didn’t work, tried several outlets. TV worked sometimes, light in hall flickered. All this led me to believe the house had an electrical issue. The backyard was a mess with fallen limbs, it was just trashy.

Family Wedding

It was not ready to be rented out in our opinion. There was a CO2 detector that was beeping until midnight when we had to find and fix it ourselves. Next day their maintenance people showed up after we had communicated the problem and they still had to run out and buy batteries. Then later in the day the air conditioner went out. It was up to 85 degrees in the property. They asked us to try and fix it. I told them it was not our responsibility. Then sent their same maintenance people back and they were there and running to the store for parts going in and out of the house. Leaving their ladders and tools for us to work around as we were getting ready for the wedding which was the reason to be there. It was very inconvenient. It seemed that we had to make several emails, texts and phone calls which consumed a lot of our vacation time. There was painter tape left on walls, trash in the front flower bed and a door without a handle. They offered a 30 % discount for all of our troubles and I replied asking for at least a 50% discount which they refused to offer. I still do not have my 30% discounted reimbursement back on my card, Very poor management and communication. I cannot recommend this property or company that owns it!
