Green Lake home with a shallow sandy beach on the north shore.
This lake home sits on Green Lake in Central Minnesota. A paved 12 mile road with a bike trail circles the lake. Enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, canoing, kayaking, paddle boarding and most of all, relaxing! The cottage boasts 2000 finished sq ft on a 50ft x 200ft lot. There are large decks both in front and back of the cottage, room for yard games, and a sandy/level lakefront perfect for young children.
The property has two outdoor areas: a large granite table, serving bar and pizza oven next to the lake. The deck on the lakeside has a sofa, 2 love seats, 2 chairs and gas fire place. I love using both of those areas for entertaining.
When you fish from the dock you can catch bluegill, perch and bass. The lake also has a great supply of bass, walleye and northern pike.
Local amenities include: Sibley State Park; Willmar; Little Crow Ski Team and the Little Theater.
Green Lake has a lakeside restaurant and additional restaurants in Spicer. A full grocery store, small movie theater, and many other attractions are in Spicer.
The property was initially part of a small resort and shares a driveway and walkway with a small cabin next door. The owners may occasionally use this property when they check the bees they keep on the property. The two places are about 15 feet apart.
The cabin has a ring doorbell.

There is absolutely NO DIVING off the dock. The lake is very shallow at the end of the dock.

About the host
Hosted by Maria Saulsbury
I grew up on Green Lake and absolutely love to share the area with my guests. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
Why they chose this property
I chose this spot on Green Lake for the sandy shallow area - you can walk in the sand quite a distance into the lake. I also love the north shore because of the beautiful breeze (sometimes wind) that keeps the property cool. On a wavy day, it is so much fun to play in the waves.
What makes this property unique
This propery is fantastic because of the dining area right on the lake shore. We love to host friends and family at this spot. There has been a lot of pizza made in the pizza oven followed by some good games of bingo.
Let me know if you want my pizza dough recipe and any tricks to having a family pizza night.
