Stay Issues

The towels had holes in them and stained. The air conditioner did not seem to cool correctly. We were woken up with a knock on the door at 3am.

I found the property more than adequate, and would book there again.

Cons: Room was dated. Property Manager doesn't respond on VRBO, bed was noisy. Pros: Room was clean, bedding clean, towels clean. bathroom clean. AC worked. The property was cute, on the outskirts of the busy part of town, ample parking. I didn't see anything bad mentioned in other reviews. I also had a chance to see a room that was booked not through VRBO and through the motel and it was almost the same as mine. Cute, interesting property. There's a stream behind the property worth checking out during the day. Yes, the room is small and dated, but I'm not planning on staying in the room much. The communication via the VRBO dashboard didn't work out, I recommend you call the motel # directly with any concerns. Once I did that, every question I had was answered. I had a tiny hiccup in checking in because the VRBO printout didn't have my name right, but they smoothed it out withing 5 or so mins. . The bed was noisy, but clean and comfortable. It's a local owned motel, not a Corporate Hotel. Adjust your expectations and you'll find the space to price ratio is great. One example. The room key was a metal actual key. For the price I paid, I was happy and would stay there again.
