NYC getaway

We wanted to stay in the Hudson Valley area because we have friends who live there. I didn't know anything about the Carmel area and we were so happy to discover the private sanctuary of this lakeside house. The view from the deck was hard to leave I did some research and found the Maybrook Trail near Brewster that runs along an old railroad line. It was magical and we all biked, walked and ran before going to lunch in Pawling. There is more to discover in this area and I will definitely go back.
