What a quiet place in the Michigan country. Saw lots of sandhill cranes and the back deck was an awesome place to be at sunset. The hot tub was a great bonus too. John was quick to respond to any inquiries and I couldn’t recommend his lake house enough. There were plenty of spiders around the outside of the house but they were helping control the mosquito population. Was a great home base for our family trip in SE Michigan.

This was perfect for us. Family wedding near by was easy to get to. Most time at the house we enjoyed the deck lakefront. Very peaceful and surprisingly quiet. Wish we had the time to get out on the lake.

Girls trip

The house and location was perfect for our 3-night getaway. The house was well stocked with kitchen necessities and there were plenty of bath towels. We brought our own pontoons, so it was nice to have a place to keep it, and there was easy access to the lake from the canal.

Great home base and fit our group. Kitchen and amenities were spot on. A smoke detector did go off due to low battery. Not owner fault. However, it was fixed right away. Parking was great for our three vehicles. I would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great place to stay

A group of us went and stayed 4 days and we really enjoyed the place. The 4 kayaks and the hot tub were the highlights of the trip. The owner was very quick to respond at all times before and during the stay. Ample space for all of us. Nice lay out. If your looking for a nice weekend away on the water and don’t want to go up north then this is the place for you.

Perfect solution!

We were in town for my mother’s Celebration of Life. Four of our adult children and their families were able to stay with my husband and myself. House was perfect size. Everything we needed was there and then some! Home was clean, well stocked and conveniently located.

What a lovely house and location! It slept 11 people easily, and was immaculately clean! We stayed mainly outside during the day, with the view of the channel, and saw Canada Geese, a deer, blue gill, catfish, turtles, and skydivers, and there were cleats available to moor a pontoon. At night we played games around the table. The kitchen provided all the tools we needed to feed the 11 of us. Lovely furnishings and comfortable beds. There was enough parking for us all, plus a guest or two.Dealing with the host was easy, no fuss. We were sad to leave. Lovely!
