Amazing Stay

We had a fabulous stay at this property. The apartment had everything we needed and was well appointed. It’s a beautiful apartment that’s slightly under the main floor but doesn’t at all feel like an apartment below ground because of all the light and the Terrase. The location cannot be beat! We were a really short distance to the Place de La Libération. We loved our 4 night stay and the whole process of getting into the apartment was seamless. Highly recommended.

What am amazing place to stay - Great location - Very Clean - The host was amazing - Great Communication fast and reliable - The reason a 4 but all else a 5 STAR is the furniture really isn't all that comfortable to sit - and there wasn't a TV to watch; which we like to sit and relax from a busy day walking miles and miles - But I would recommend this charming place for a central location and within walking distance to city center. I guess because this area is in such a central location there is some night life outside the windows it tended to get a little loud but it worked out in the end. The process of getting the key was easy - as well as leaving. Would we stay there again - Yes!

You’re absolutely right — the furniture is indeed from the mid-19th century, genuine period pieces that we’ve carefully selected for their character and authenticity rather than for the kind of comfort one expects from modern, lounge-style furniture. That said, we actually find our chairs and the two armchairs quite comfortable ourselves — it’s really only the sofa that’s a little on the firm side! Your comment also helped us understand why the furniture arrangement was a bit different when you left — it made us smile! Since this is our home, not just a rental space, we try to keep it arranged as we live in it, with its own personality and atmosphere. As for the TV, we’ve chosen not to have one to preserve the calm and spirit of the place, but we completely understand your preference and truly appreciate you mentioning it. Old City is at your doorstep.

This is a lovely well appointed apartment in the Old City of Dijon. You are literally steps away from Great restaurants, shops, and places to party. The apartment is newly renovated with everything you need for a great time. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all the essentials to cook if you desire. The hosts are thoughtful in providing a selection of spices, oil and even fresh aromatics and herbs for you to use. Coffee, tea, jam, mustard and cookies were also left for us to enjoy. The hosts were easy to reach and responded quickly to questions. Great place to stay.
