The Space:
Welcome to Shain Manor! This Victorian Era home built in 1897 has been completely redone into a spectacular home away from home.
The Shain Manor Full House is a 3-story home with 3 bedrooms & 3.5 baths. We also rent the upper and lower floors individually (see separate listings for Garden Suite & Parlor Suite).
Upon entering, you will be welcomed by an abundance of natural light and Guests are treated to 2 newly remodeled kitchens and 2 elegant living rooms! Offering many places for hanging out and relaxing, watching movies, playing games or just having some quiet time.
The ground level has an open floor plan, with a living room, new kitchen, dining area, and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, with a new mattress and luxury cotton linens. Additionally, there is a full en-suite bathroom, with a tub/shower combo & laundry closet with a full-size washer/dryer.
Upstairs, on the 2nd floor, you will find a large living room, separate dining room, and a Chef’s kitchen that offers a full array of Thermador appliances including a professional 36” gas stove with griddle & oven, 30” refrigerator/freezer, Scotsman gourmet clear ice machine, wine and beverage fridge, microwave drawer, a countertop Breville toaster oven & toaster and a Cuisinart pod-coffee maker. The sink has a reverse-osmosis room temperature & boiling water filtration system. The kitchen is completely equipped for all your cooking needs. There is also a powder room, designed with intricate Carrara marble tile around the corner.
On the 3rd Floor, in the parlor landing there is a private game table, for those interested in a game of chess, checkers or backgammon. There is also a comfy chaise you can use to read, lounge in or work on your laptop.
Additionally, there are two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms on the 3rd level. The primary suite features a king-sized Ralph Lauren-inspired bed with luxury cotton linens and pillows, chaise and a large desk. The en-suite bathroom has a marble double vanity with two sinks and a large walk-in shower with a hand-held shower head. The spacious master closet includes a full-size washer/dryer.
The 3rd floor second bedroom has 2 full size beds, also with brand new mattresses and luxury, cotton linens. There is a chair and ottoman for relaxing under the bespoke artwork made with local flora. This room has a closet and dresser for plenty of storage as well as a small desk for private moments to write or work.
The pièce de résistance is the 2-story outdoor oasis! The European-inspired, ground floor courtyard features a painted mural wall, comfy seating and lush greenery. Up the circular staircase is a large breezy deck located right off the kitchen! There is a gas grill & gas firepit for guests while enjoying the neighborhood sounds of church bells, horses clomping, ships’ horns and views of fireworks from the river during holidays.
Located between Columbia & Greene Squares, Shain Manor is on the corner of York & Price Streets. We are a 5-minute walk to River Street; 4 blocks to the retail mecca of Broughton Street & walkable to all the must-see sights!

Well located, lovely property with everything you could possibly need. The outdoor space was a perfect hang out spot for the family after our adventures exploring downtown.
We had the best family visit in Savannah over the holidays. This home is perfectly located, beautifully decorated with gorgeous and comfortable interior and exterior gathering spots. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked and spotless.We would love to stay there again!

We were a group of 5 women on a girls' trip. We had a wonderful stay in Savannah, especially because of this house. It is expertly decorated, has every amenity you could wish for (stocked kitchen, ice maker, drink fridge, high-end appliances, comfortable furniture (including beds), outside patio with beautiful planters and lights). It is in a very walkable area close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!
Shain Manor was perfect for accommodating my family for our trip. The home was expertly renovated, beautifully staged, and intuitively stocked to supply all the necessities and charm for a comfortable stay in historic Savannah. We also enjoyed the walkability of the location as well as the separation of the living quarters. Would highly recommend.

This updated property was very nicely updated and well decorated. The outside areas were very pretty, as well. We walked everywhere and were fortunate to get free parking across the street. My only complaint is, that as a very light sleeper, the road noise kept kept
This property is fantastic! The pictures and description of the house are detailed and accurate but the place is even more impressive in person. No expense was spared in the renovation. Nothing was overlooked with the design, finishes and decor. It’s hard to believe that such a beautifully appointed home is offered as a rental. We were traveling to a wedding with my 80 year old parents who were especially appreciative of the first floor apartment set-up which allowed for convenience and privacy for everyone. I don’t think you can find a better option while in Savannah. A

This VRBO was above and beyond expectations. The location was an easy 15 minute walk to anywhere, it was the epitome of well-stocked, the decor was stunning, and everything was pristinely clean (including the outdoor furniture on both patios). I have truly never seen a cleaner property, and I've stayed in many, many rentals! I would highly reccomend this rental to ANYONE who is looking for a place in Savannah. The street/area is extremely safe (I believe street parking was 8 a day- you pay via an app), the sink had filtered water, there was a commercial grade ice machine, the hosting supplies were abundant, the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton pads, lotion, etc., the rooms were HUGE...I could go on and on. This property is stunning and we WILL be back!
