Overall, this is fine as a budget stay. You are getting what you pay for in this unit, so as long as you do not go in expecting top notch amenities and cleanliness, it’s a fine place to stay. We don’t use our room much other than to sleep and shower, so we went with a cheaper option and it worked for us. Here’s pros and cons:Pros:Close to beaches and palm beach strip if you have a car, free parking, beach accessories, nice pool, laundry access, kitchen, lovely neighbors!!Cons:We didn’t have hot water for most of our stay. This did get fixed and they installed a new water heater after the people in the unit below us complained. There were many ants and mosquitos - we just killed them as we saw them, but found ants in our bed and in our towels which made it difficult to relax. The drain in the bathroom was not working properly, so the apartment smelled of sewer strongly off and on throughout the day. There are many neighborhood dogs that bark off and on through the night. Thankfully we brought a white noise machine and were able to mostly drown it out, but if you’re a light sleeper this may be a problem. VacationAruba company reached out to ask for any feedback upon check in, to which we responded to request a few more towels and heard nothing back. All in all, just don’t expect resort or hotel quality. It is fine if you’re willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for a cheaper price point.
