It's a basement apartment in a quiet neighborhood.I arrived and pulled my car up to the side door as instructed..multiple doors with multiple locks lead me to twisted stairs and a small entrance. The bed and towels weren't matching or nice. The ceiling wasn't finished...creepy vibe.I left and rented a hotel room.I think it shouldn't be a VRBO property. Thank you for your feedback, but I’d like to clarify a few inaccuracies in your description. 1. Parking Directions: Guests are clearly instructed to park either on the street or behind the building. It seems you did not follow these instructions, which may have caused confusion upon arrival. 2. Entry Process: There are only two locks, both using the same code, making entry straightforward. The setup is standard, and accessing the apartment requires just one turn to reach the unit, contrary to your exaggerated description. 3. The Space: The apartment is exactly as depicted in the listing photos, including the unfinished ceiling in certain areas. While we understand that décor preferences vary, the space is clean, safe, and thoughtfully maintained for our guests. 4. Creepy Vibe: We regret you felt this way, but this is a quiet and welcoming neighborhood, and many guests have had comfortable and positive stays here. We take all feedback seriously, but we also encourage guests to accurately read and follow the instructions provided.

This place was awful! It is a basement unit with one window opening into a window well. The unit is advertised as having air conditioning which is actually a fan with a bucket of water behind it. You put in a frozen ice pack to "make the air cold." There were holes in the ceiling above the toilet and we question whether the unit is up to code. The door to the unit opens from the second to the last of very steep steps making entry with luggage tricky at best. There were far too many doors in the unit leading to lord knows where so safety was a concern. The unit was musty, probably from the "air conditioning". I could go on but hopefully you get the point.
