This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage has one double bed in each bedroom and one full bath. There is a full kitchen with microwave, stove, full size refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster and everything you need to cook except for the food. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa that can sleep up to 2 additional people. The cottage is approximately 650 sq ft.

This cottage is located just 2.5 miles east of Munising on M-28. It is close to all area attractions. It is part of the Alger Falls Motel so there is someone on site from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. if you need additional housekeeping items of any kind or area information.

Very clean cabin

This cabin was great for our family. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The location is close to many hikes, kayaking, boat tour and Munising.

great space close to everything yet tucked away

We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay. The lady who checked us in was friendly. The cottage was roomy for our party of 3 plus dog. We didn't cook but it was nice to have kitchen facilities, plates, and silverware for heating up left-overs for breakfast before hitting the road. We would stay again if in the area.

Nice clean place. Beds are small full size only even though sign says queen size beds. Beds were comfy just small for 2 people. Right on the highway (M-28) and semi clutch breaking at 3 AM was a little rough. Deck was very small. Would have been nice to have our own grill and fire pit. Water was good and a good shower.

Thank you for leaving a review. This is the smaller of our 2 cabins and there is only room for a double bed in each (as listed in the description). The second cabin is larger and has 2 queen beds in each room. We have a fire pit in front of the cabins which is available to everyone at the property. You stayed during the busiest time of the year, but usually the traffic slows way down at night.

The beds are very firm if you prefer that they are nice mattresses. Unfortunately this is not just near a busy road, it faces the road. If you are looking for a natural setting, this is only the case when you look at the cabin. If you sit on the small porch, the only outdoor space, you’re watching a main road and other businesses. Appliances and fixtures are older and in various states of disrepair but usable. Bring your own paper towels. The staff is very nice. Convenient access to town.

Family trip to Pictured Rocks

Quiet, cozy cottage life. Was just outside of the downtown area which was perfect for a quiet evening after hiking and the beach. Beds were comfortable full size and comfortable. Cottage was clean with plenty of supplies, including towels. Check-in and check-out was easy. Front desk was very informative and nice. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Small but enough space for 3 people. Did not realize it was off a main road, which I did not like. Also, we had a hard time finding it. Look for Alger motel in your GPS. Host knew this, but I didn't see it anywhere in the description. There is no laundry in the cabin, so not sure where the laundry facilities are.

The address of the cabin is listed in the description, and it says State Hwy M-28. This cottage is part of the Alger Falls Motel, and, unlike many VRBOs, there is a host on site from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm. There are laundry facilities on site, and she would have been happy to show you where if you had asked.

Cute Cabin

Check in was very easy as this cabin is affiliated with a hotel. Although we didn't do any cooking, there is ample supplies to do so. The beds are firm, but nice. This cabin is located on a busy highway, so if you are in the first bedroom, expect to hear traffic noise. The only things I would note is the sofa in the living room is very uncomfortable. It has a pull out bed, but the cushions are so mashed down it is difficult to get off of and you feel the bars of the bed. Also, the knob for the water in the shower is difficult to figure out as the temperature controls are not visible due to wear. It is close to Munising and area attractions. Despite the above mentioned items, I would stay here again.

Shower

The knob on water heat control was stripped. Getting a warm shower took some effort getting knob to grab hold. HotWater for sinks was very responsive and good pressure. Informed manager and she was unaware of that issue. Said no one notified her previously.and she would fix it. I had to leave that day but I would believe her. I would book again.
