we had an excellent stay at cozy Casa. It’s conveniently located to shopping, groceries, coffee etc. The house was very clean and comfortable and was an excellent choice for me and my family over Thanksgiving weekend. We'll definitely stay here again!
Property was fine and mostly clean. Almost all power outlets in house blocked by large furniture. Carpet in living room had Cheerio, M&M and can tab. So cleanliness was a small issue. Under beds was not clean. Everything else was clean as expected. Only 2 of the 6 Body/Shamp/Cond dispensers worked. Electronic front door lock wasn't working and could only be locked from inside, so we had to leave by the garage which didn't have remote opener. Anytime we left, had to dodge closing garage door and safety beam. Real pain in the ass. Only 1 TV and VOLUME didn't work.
The STRANGE part was the rules we received with the address email:
"👯♀️ OCCUPANCY No more than 7 people allowed in/outside of the house at any given time." - Hmm. How is occupancy related to outside the house? We rented a Vrbo to host TG dinner. There were 6 people staying at the house. So we had to have TG dinner somewhere else so Mom AND Dad could both be there.
"🚭SMOKING Absolutely zero smoking is allowed in the house. We have smoke detectors that notify me when smoke (of any kind) is detected. A fee of $100 is added to your bill if smoke is detected (this is used to have the house professionally cleaned after)" - Hmm. So we can't cook anything or risk setting off a smoke detector and getting charged $100? Crazy! and Creepy that we're being monitored.
"One uncovered parking space is available on Fourth Street in front of house ." - Hmm. It's a public street, I can use any space(s) I want. So bizzare.

Cleanliness:
We regret that the cleanliness did not meet the high standards we strive for. Your comments regarding the carpet and areas under the beds are noted, and we will ensure our cleaning team addresses these areas more thoroughly in the future. We also appreciate you bringing the issue with the body wash dispensers to our attention—this will be checked and fixed promptly.
Power Outlets & Electronic Front Door Lock:
Thank you for noting the issues with blocked outlets and the front door lock. We will review the furniture placement to ensure outlets are more accessible. Regarding the front door lock, we apologize for the inconvenience as lock stopped working suddenly. Two sets of keys were left for front door
House Rules & Smoking Policy:
We appreciate your comments regarding the house rules, and we want to clarify that the “occupancy” rule applies specifically to both the house and the surrounding property. As for the smoking policy, we understand your concerns. The rule is in place for the safety of all guests, as well as to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the property. Tobacco lingers and penetrates furniture.
