Such great space in a perfect location for navigating around DC. Had four meals within 3 blocks and all were really, really good. I know DC basement apartments and this was the best I’ve seen. Windows with light in every room. 3 bathrooms! And very little noise from above or from on the street. Would happily stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at a basement apartment in Washington DC, near the Smithsonian Zoo. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like home. Fantastic apartment and great location! Josh's apartment is on a quiet street just two blocks from all the great restaurants and shops in Adams Morgan. It's an English basement apartment but is full of light and isn't below ground at all. Windows in every rooms. We loved the outdoor space in the back. Super comfortable beds, great kitchen. We loved it and would definitely return!

The apartment was clean and bright and spacious. There were 3 adults that stayed in the apartment. 1 in each bedroom and 1 on the pull out couch. 2.5 baths, a lovely little outdoor space and a nice kitchen. The neighborhood was really cute with lots of bars and restaurants and shops. Not far from all the central DC sights. Joah was super helpful and responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely recommend this apartment!!!

We enjoyed an extra long weekend in DC, and this location was great for us. You are very close to the liveliness of Adams Morgan, but you will not hear any noise from the nearby street at night.Grocery store and grug store are just around the corner, very convenient

Cute place + good location

The place was exactly as described, with everything we needed for our one-week stay. Adams Morgan is a vibrant part of the city, not too far from the Mall, museums, and monuments and the apartment is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, bars, groceries.
