The LucKY Lodge: Hot Tub! New Build, 11 Miles to Natural Bridge
New listing from trusted Premier Hosts! The LucKY Lodge is off the beaten path, but not far! Nestled in the treeline on the side of a hill in a newer cabin development, this cabin is just the right size to make you feel cozy, but not missing any of the comforts of home! A wrap around porch and windows to let in the natural light. A vaulted ceiling and loft area provide you with that traditional cabin look and feel, but granite countertops and stainless appliances are modern touches. The hot tub offers complete relaxation.
To start, we are about 3/4 mile off Highway 15. The area is a cabin subdivision with lots of other cabins, so you won't have total seclusion, but we have over 1 acre, so you won't be right on top of anyone either. This is a new development, so the roads are very rough. I HIGHLY SUGGEST A VEHICLE WITH SOME GROUND CLEARANCE, LIKE A TRUCK OR SUV. If you drive a car, there are places where you will scrape and drag! Four wheel drive is a must during winter months.
Once you get to the cabin, there is enough room to easily park 3-4 cars. Stay on the gravel, or you are likely to get stuck when it rains.
The cabin is on a 16' x 40' frame with a wrap around porch, that is covered on one side. Inside, you will be greeted by a the living room and full kitchen with vaulted ceiling. The Kitchen boasts a full size fridge and stove, a dishwasher, and granite countertops. Check the amenities list to see exactly what we have available. Pine shiplap abounds, with gorgeous reclaimed flooring made up of a variety of hardwoods.
Upstairs is a loft bedroom area with a king bed and two twin beds. Back the hall is the master bedroom, bathroom, owner's closet, and laundry area that is available for guest use.
There are TV's in both the living room and the master bedroom.

Great place to stay! Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. Glad we had a 4X4 jeep for the hills and stream crossings! We definitely recommend this property.
We loved this cabin so much!!! Unfortunately, there were issues with the water pump and we had to find a new rental for most of our planned weekend. The owner was amazing to work with us through this issue and made the situation as easy as possible. I would (and hope to) stay there again!!!
The cabin was cozy & clean! It had anything you would need for your stay! The host is also very good at communication, he answered ALL of my questions. I would definitely recommend this place to someone!

I appreciate your kind words. Come back if you visit Red River Gorge again!
The house was exactly as pictured. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway and so much more. The host, Travis, was very responsive and really thought of everything. The self check-in feature was a nice touch. The explicit directions made it easy to find and the Red River Gorge was close by. We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was perfect and the coziness and peacefulness of the cabin was amazing. Would definitely stay again.
Cabin was clean, with comfortable beds and had all the amenities you could possibly need, even snacks! Beautiful cabin!
Close enough to hiking trails but far enough from city noises.

Rose, thank you for pointing out the comfortable beds and clean accommodations. My family uses the cabin quite a bit and we didn't compromise on comfort! We appreciate your business and hope you come back soon.
We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! This is a perfect place for a family getaway. The beds were super comfortable and it's really nice to have three in the loft for the kiddos. We enjoyed playing a couple of the many board games and the Legos and toys were put to good use! The hot tub is really nice too! We did make it up the steep gravel lane in our Kia Carnival but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not used to driving on gravel or snow and I was really glad we arrived during daylight hours.
My daughter and I made the trip from DE to KY for the gorge underground and local hiking. The lucky lodge is located in a somewhat secluded area with a few other cabins around. Getting to the cabin was a bit challenging as the road has 2 small water crossings and very steep climbs but it’s def doable with 4WD. It is so cute and cozy with lots of extras including cookware, utensils, keurig. Spices, soap, dish detergent, pods, laundry detergent…the list goes on and on! We had an issue with the water which was handled promptly by the owner! We would def stay again!
I'm originally from Indiana but have lived most my life in Kentucky. I'm a teacher by trade but love working on and refurbishing houses. I love the outdoors, sports, cars, and my family.
I started my hosting journey in 2020 when my family moved and couldn't sell our previous home, so we did short term rentals, and it was so much fun, we started expanding. We started our own business, Lucky Kentucky Rentals, and have 4 rentals in Northern Kentucky and 1 here at Red River Gorge.
Why they chose this property
When I started vacation rentals in 2020, having a cabin at the Gorge was my dream. I've made that dream a reality and this is by far my favorite rental!
What makes this property unique
I love this property because its a little off the beaten path, but still easy to reach everything in the Gorge. I just really wanted something in this area so when my wife okayed the idea, I jumped on this property.
