Welcome to June's get-away! Gentle slope to the water where you can cast your fishing line right from the bank. Wake up to morning coffee on the large deck and enjoy evenings around the fire pit. House has a full kitchen, private bedroom, and a loft perfect for the kids, along with a comfortable den with electric fireplace. If you have to do a little work, there's even a desk with printer and of course Wi-Fi is available. Guest House features a queen bed and full bed and a full bathroom with shower. Take a day and explore the antique shops in the quant town of Cadiz, or launch your boat at the nearby boat ramp for a day on the lake. Property has a tall carport to park your boat under. Visit Land Between the Lakes, its just a short drive away. Enjoy the many local restaurants from fine dining to a plate full of fried catfish! I think once you stay here, you'll want to come back again soon!
(NOTE: This property is not handicap accessible and tall and larger guest may be more comfortable using the walk-in shower in the adjacent guest house.)

The facility was very clean and beautiful. It would not be handicap assessable at all. It was small with entry and bathroom not easy to get through. It did have a second very assessable building which we used for showers. My 6’4” husband would not be able to get into the bathroom. I enjoyed listening to the birds and the view of the river. Thank you.

Great getaway

I had a great time staying here for my daughter‘s sixth birthday. It was the perfect getaway in the perfect place right off the lake and very relaxing. The house was beautiful. Everything was very neat and the owners made it very easy for us to access the place and it was great with communication. Highly recommend.

We had the best getaway this weekend! The property was beautiful, and the house was extremely clean and smelled great. I didn’t even realize in the listing it had a guest house, but it was so cute too. For sure will be coming back with my kiddos. The moonriver marina was literally 3 minutes away and so good. We also went to miss pattis which was about 45 minutes away. Theres a dollar general and liquor store minutes away as well.

Beautiful lake weekend

I stayed here with my small family and my brother and his two boys. The stay was comfy and cozy. It’s excellent for young families with the children’s loft. Outside is like a magic. We saw otters, egrets, owls and lots of frogs and toads. This area is a gem and this stay is a perfect place to immerse your family. Great stay

It was clean and beautifully decorated. Its almost impossible to fish by the lake though as the vegetation and weeds are in abundance. The check in and out was easy and host was friendly and replied to questions promptly. Overall, a peaceful and beautiful stay.

Thank you so much for your nice review, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The Corps of Engineers owns the property along the water, but I have asked my mowing contractor to mow to the water as I do have a permit from COE to do so. Unfortunately, with water levels changing and recent rains before your stay, it wasn't dry enough for him to mow that close to the water. When it is possible, that area is mowed and makes fishing so much easier.

Great location and cute place

This small home with the additional room in an outbuilding fit our family’s need for a long weekend. Owner was great to work with. It was very clean, cleverly and comfortably furnished to fit 6 people. The front porch was like an extra room and we used it a lot. Only recommended improvements would be to add to the cooking pans/cutlery. For example, a pasta pot, better cutting knives, a carrot peeler and cookie sheets would have helped.

Cute property

When we arrived the surrounding housing in the circle was not appealing but the houses on each side of the property were very nice! Lisa had delicious brownies and a Happy Anniversary card waiting for us on the bar! The house was perfect for 2 people. Decorated very well and very clean. Quiet! Saw lots of deer, raccoons and other wildlife. Large deck with very nice seating and view of the creek. Fishing did not produce a bite. Saw turtles and ducks. Bring bug spray for the evening outdoors.

The home was very clean and spacious to be a smaller home. The outbuilding was a great addition for our family so we had plenty of room to spread out. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors were super nice, and were actually one of the reasons we enjoyed our trip so much. We all caught fish and had a great time just getting back to nature. The kids learned alot and we saw plenty of wildlife in the back yard, including an armadillo! The host was great, she kept us informed of anything that was going on with the rental ahead of time and also kept us up to date on festivities and attractions in the area. The kitchen was nice but watch the chairs they aren't the most comfortable and they surprise you with a dip when you sit. It would have been handy to have a toaster, but besides that it was great. The local town was small, but full of kind people. While there we ate at the local Taste of the South Restaurant, the food was amazing and the staff were excellent. You could truy tell customer service was very important to them, which made my day, customer service has suffered and it is refreshing to see a businesses that still care about more than the almighty . We also ventured out to a place called Fast Freddies. Don't let the outside fool you, it is a neat little store with a nice restaurant that served some of the biggest, best tasting burgers I've seen or ate in years. Staff were great. Definitely worth the trip and would love to to stay here again

Stayed for the 4th of July week

The initial turn off from the main road has some questionable looking homes and it had me worried. Once we got to the road the home was on, it was beautiful. The property looks exactly like the photos. The only thing that caught us off guard was that this is a "tiny" home. The photos make it look bigger than it is. My son and boyfriend are over 6 foot, so the beds, doorways and bathroom were very small for them. So if you are bigger or you're traveling with bigger people, you might struggle a bit. The porch space was delightful. It was my favorite place to be. Protection from the sun, watching the fireflies at night and so many tiny frogs. The main bedroom was incredibly hot, but we just used a fan, set it next to the ac vent in the hall and faced it toward the bedroom and left the door open, then we were comfortable. We only used the fridge and coffee maker, but the kitchen was well stocked. The recliners were lovely. The detached space for extra beds was great. Overall the home served its purpose. It was very clean. The sheets and towels smelled freshly washed. Lisa was hands down the best host i have rented from. Very responsive, accomodating and kind.

Perfect spot to get away from it all!

From the moment we pulled into the driveway and saw the water, I knew we'd found a place of peace and quiet for the weekend. Every single thing from the covered deck overlooking the gorgeous back yard and water, to the perfectly decorated interior was picture perfect. It was my birthday weekend, and what I wanted was a couple of quiet days to relax and do much of nothing, not too far from home, and I could not have picked a better place. I spent hours on that deck reading and watching the local wildlife. There was a turkey that visited both days, several hawks that have to have a nest near the shoreline, and squirrels galore! Lisa was always readily available through the app or by text when I had a question about anything. I had mentioned that it was my birthday weekend, and when we walked in, one of the first things I saw was the sweetest birthday card and 2 little packages of homemade cookies! (the cookies were excellent too!) We were also able to catch up on some movies while we were there, and the wifi was great as well. Even though we had some heavy rain one day, our wifi never wavered, so bonus points there as well! So much attention to detail, so perfectly decorated, so perfect for your quiet weekend getaway. Whether you are flying solo, with your spouse, with a couple of friends for a girls trip, this little gem can't be beat 100% highly recommend, 10/10! ALSO! Go to the Fishin' Hole for a meal or 2! You will NOT regret it! Great food, great people!! 10/10 as well!

I am a local western Kentucky girl and love the lakes area with so much to do and see that I'm excited for my guest to experience all the fun and relaxation the area offers. I really believe once you stay here, you'll plan to come back year after year.

Why they chose this property

My favorite thing about the property, honestly, is just sitting on the large deck and relaxing looking out over the water and watching the wild life play down by the water. Now my husband and grandkids love the fact that you can easily walk right to the water and fish all day from the bank. Or if you are a little more adventurous, bring your kayak and take off right into the water. Drive 3 minutes to the closest boat ramp and spend the day out on the lake. I also love the downtown Cadiz, KY area and all the antique shops and local places to eat. These are my favorite things about June's lake house.

What makes this property unique

Unlike so many lake houses where you have to walk down steep hills to get to the water, I think an easy walk to the water makes June's lake house unique.
