Beach house stay

Worst house ever. Came down with friends. First the plumbing in the kitchen did not work we personally had to take everything from the plumbing apart and clean it out. Next three of the visitor got cut with pieces of glass that were in the bedrooms. They had very nosey neighbors and we couldn't be outside making loud noises because they would complain. Then was told he call the cops because we had 40 or more people at the house. Which was not true because some our friends left that same afternoon. At the end of the day the ac broke and we had to leave a day early from our trip.

We are sorry to hear that you experienced some issues while in residence. However, we do wish that you would have contacted either Evolve or the local contact as the issues could have been addressed immediately. After inspection, it does not appear as though there were any issues with the plumbing in the kitchen nor does it appear that anything was taken apart. There were also no signs of broken glass in the bedroom, but the property has been cleaned and vacuumed thoroughly since your stay. Unfortunately, the A/C did have a transformer malfunction but this has been repaired. Lack of Cleanliness

Goodmorning… just wanted to bring a couple of things to your attention, idk how often that house is cleaned but it was not clean, the ceiling fans were all filthy, the window sills are dirty, the rest of the furniture looks like it hasn’t been dusted as well. The AC was working fine yesterday afternoon, it was set at either 72 or 73, over night idk what happened but we woke up to it being 80 degrees in the house this morning. But what really upset us is the mold growing in the master bedroom, my husband and I slept in the other bedroom, putting another couple on the couches. There’s mold growing all over the dresser in the master bedroom, along with mold growing on the bed posts as well. I will attach pics. I would like some kind of partial refund for the inconvenience. Thank u for taking the time to read this.

Alejandra, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: Owner's response: We take cleanliness very seriously and apologize for the dust on the fans and window sills. I have talked to the cleaners and it has been taken care of, and I have emphasized what is expected and the condition the home should be in when any guests arrive. We have also checked on the mold issue and we found none We apologize for the issues with the AC it appears that the condenser coil went out in the middle of the night, this was not something that we could have prevented and we are sorry. This was fixed the next day We wish you had reached out with the issues when you got there instead of after you checked out. We would have done what we could to rectify the situation or to allow you the opportunity to cancel for a refund. It's easier for us to take care of issues when a guest is in the home rather than after they have left We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.

Came for a family vacation. Arrived on Friday. When we arrived the air was off (in July in Texas!) and it took till the next morning to cool off. We had NO hot water. Called owner Saturday morning...sent guy later that day. Said fixed...nope! After being at the beach all day my grand babies took cold showers to rinse off! Called owner again Saturday afternoon to tell them still no hot water. Guy came back out and “fixed” it again. When we left Monday morning no one Had had a hot bath since arriving! The owner knew this and did no kind of compensation! We left feeling they did not care that we were inconvenienced at all!

We had a great time and it was a very homey comfortable feel to the house. I liked that bedding was supplied. Made packing easier. Now for the negatives the microwave wasn’t working and I had brought along quick foods so I didn’t have to cook so that was inconvenient also the WiFi would not work the whole time we were there. We made the best of the situation and did have a great time. Also it advertises as being a short block to the beach but it is actually more like 4. They did provide toys for my grandson and a bucket and snacks that was really great.

Family Time

We really enjoyed Easter weekend spending time with the family! Taking a well-deserved break before the kids buckle down on their college finals! Great weekend on the beach, and spent time in this well-equipped home. Both decks were very spacious and had tables for gathering. The layout of the house was fantastic, master bedroom on one side, and kids on the other side. The laundry room was very spacious and allowed us to store extra stuff we brought out of the way. Great time - thank you for sharing your home with us!

Surfside stay

My family and I stayed in this home on Surfside last weekend, it was marvelous!!! The house was very spacious, the deck was huge, and the entire property was immaculate. There is really not much to say. We would definitely stay again!!
