Beautifully appointed, luxurious, modern and spacious house by the sea. Located in a quiet village on the North Norfolk coast, minutes from the beach. Perfect for outdoorsy summer holidays, but equally comfortable and cosy for a winter break. The large garden and the bright open plan interiors make this a truly unique holiday home. The owners have taken great care to make this a home away from home. 2 Blacksmiths Yard is a luxurious newly constructed detached house, enviably located in historic Burnham Thorpe, the birthplace of Lord Admiral Nelson. The property has a sunny south facing garden and the house has been tastefully furnished to an extremely high standard. This wonderful property has a large open plan ground floor with a stylish media wall and bifold doors opening on to the garden. The open-plan nature of the ground floor makes this one of the most sociable houses we've ever come across! 3 large bedrooms upstairs with en-suite bathrooms can be set up as super-king size beds or 2 single beds per bedroom on prior notice. One further bedroom is situated on the ground floor with a downstairs loo close by. It is ideally situated within walking distance of the Lord Nelson pub, the village playing fields and only a few minutes drive into the Georgian village of Burnham Market, the coast and Holkham Hall. With so much to do in both summer and winter, we think this is the perfect getaway. We can now offer a private chef (blackdoordiningnorwich) for a lazy night in, a summer barbecue or that special celebration.

We stayed here for a long weekend celebrating our parents 50th wedding anniversary, and it was perfect. The house is beautiful, fully equipped and in a fantastic location. We really hope to be able to return again in the future
Myself and 5 friends stayed in this beautiful house for a weekend of walking. The house is very well appointed and stocked with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, as well as advice on local walks and things to do. The area is brilliant for walking and bird watching, and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons inside out of the rain and gales doing jigsaws and cooking lovely food. We also had lunch at the local pub which was amazing and just a short walk away. Highly recommended.

Why they chose this property
North Norfolk is absolutely stunning. Holkham beach has been voted one of the UK's top 5 beaches! The countryside is beautiful, the towns are quaint and have lovely eateries, restaurants, pubs, and shops. I take a great amount of pleasure from walking my dog in the gorgeous scenery and exploring the area by bike. Norfolk is flat and so it is accessible for all to exercise. Burnham Thorpe is a quiet and peaceful village and has a sweet little stream running through it (the house is just across the road from here). It is moments from the beach in the car and you can access all you want very easily. We absolutely love it here and consider this to be our special place. Come to escape, relax, walk, talk, laugh and unwind. It is a perfect spot for both winter and summer.
What makes this property unique
The property was built in 2021 so it is a modern house that looks like a period property. It is super warm, very open and friendly with a big open plan living space on the ground floor for all to enjoy. The enclosed garden is perfect for dogs and children and the bedrooms are all massive! we love enjoying the house both in the summer and in the winter. It is really well located as well. Beautifully appointed, super comfortable, and decked out to a very high standard. You won't find anywhere better.
