This property isn’t fancy, it’s comfortable. Filled with many thoughtful touches to help ensure you have a relaxing time and enjoy the area. S’more makings, firewood, soap, shampoo, laundry soap, plenty of towels, even blankets for the dogs were all pleasant surprises. It’s quite new and very well maintained inside and out. Having a hot tub to relax in was a lovely treat between hikes. The hosts were kind and communicative. There are other cabins nearby, but the yard was quite large and our kids and dogs all enjoyed the space to run around. My only additional wish would be for a dishwasher, but there was plenty of soap provided to wash up. And we could have brought paper products if we wanted to.
Amazing cabin. New, clean, has everything needed to feel like home. Perfect for a week or longer stay to take advantage of climbing at RRG with a small group of friends or single family. The owner was very helpful and communication was great. Will definitely stay here again.
Such a wondeful cabin!!! Very clean and so many well thought out amenities. From firewood and marshmallows to more towels than I've ever seen in a rental! I think VRBO missed sending us the check-in details but the stay was great!
The cabin was amazing. New. Comfortable. Clean. Great location. My kids loved the yard and had so much room to run around. The fire pit was excellent after a day of hiking. We loved the small details….the smores on the counter, the fire wood, Ale 8 in the fridge. Thanks so much for an amazing stay. We will definitely stay here again!
The cabin was beautiful! It was within 15-20 minutes of some great activities. Shower was huge. The curve to get into the driveway was a bit scary and the cabin still smelled like wood stain. It needs to be ventilated a little bit more. However, our trip was amazing and had a beautiful cabin to stay in.
Cabin was perfect for what we needed. 15 -25 minutes to all the trails we wanted to see and places for food. Perfectly spacious, lots of land to star gaze, and loved the fire pit.
Only down fall was the drive way. If we did not have our SUV we probably would of got stuck. A car at another cabin did at the top (not property manager fault). Just want to make visitors prepared.
My kids and I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful cozy cabin. As a mom, I enjoyed the extra amenities like a full roll of paper, towel towels, extra toilet paper, baggies, marshmallows, chocolate, and more utensils and dishwater than other VRBOs provide. The added doggie blankets, doggie water bowl and treats really give a heartwarming touch. I was also very glad that this cabin was not at the bottom of the very steep hill upon entering onto Cable Ln. Definitely veer right instead of going down the hill like I did. We made it back up in the dark though! I really was pleased with her prompt responses to my questions too. I’d highly recommend this as a single mom with kids and a dog. It’s within a few minutes of a grocery store which makes meals a lot easier with a kiddo with a severe allergy. And of course it’s close to all of the fun things to do like zip lining and underground kayaking, which we did all of those too! Red River Gorge Ziplining is a great company for first time zip liners like us too. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!
The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It was very clean and organized. There were plenty of pots, pans and utensils to use. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We brought our 2 small dogs and they enjoyed the big yard. The water pressure wasn't great but it is likely due to the location of the cabin. The road to get to the cabin was rough and steep with loose gravel in areas. The driveway was also steep with very loose gravel causing us to spin out each time we pulled out. The cabin was very close to trails and other family activities. I would recommend this cabin to anyone that is looking to hike the trails at RRG.
