Under 2.5 hours from the Washington DC metropolitan area, La Memoria is a perfect weekend escape and get away from work and modern city atmosphere to incredible water views and log cabin stay experience. It all connects with nature, country environment while still enjoying some luxury amenities, 5 mins drive to grocery store and high-speed internet. This place is for people with peace minded who are seeking self-emptying from the mundane day-to-day or the hustle and bustle of life. It is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin situated on 2+ acres river front land at the beautiful Northern Neck, Virgina. It includes spacious outdoor living space, 87 ft dock, grill (propane), firepit (propane), and large screened outdoor patio.
The space
The cabin includes an open space concept living room and kitchen. The high ceiling living room has a comfortable couch, electronic fireplace, big screen TV, karaoke machine, Xbox and more. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and vista the river view through the living room window. Walkin screened outdoor patio, adjustable dining table can easily fit 8 people. A 100 inches projector screen and HD projector will be the best choice for movie night. Master bedroom with King sized bed, sitting area log walls surrounded. On the second floor two bedrooms have queen sized bed with workstation (keyboard, mouse, and 27 inches HD monitor) and two twin sized beds (small bedroom). A loft on the second floor serves as family entertainment area with small party games, boardgames, mini-pool table & foosball, arcade game machine and more. A leathered queen size sofa bed is available on the loft as well. The outdoor space includes small riverfront patio area with a firepit, seating and picnic table. A hammock next to the patio pathway. Brand new kayaks can be easily launched through the brand new dock on the riverside. A large deck area at the end of the dock for fishing, sunbathing and more.
Guest access
Guests have access to most of the property except the locked basement area (storage and utility space)
Other things to note
We are a pet friendly facility. All pets brought into the house must be approved by host and provide proof of flea and tick treatment and updated shot records. The service pets must have documentation. There is an additional cleaning and maintenance fee of $150, per stay, if you are bringing your pet.
